Everything is Halal, so you know that the animals were treated humanely. There are also vegan options. Everything was divine, I was happily surprised to find a new twist on some of my favorites. “Today, I had my long time favorite, the purple falafel wrap, at the Ballard farmers market after almost two years and it was just as yummy as I remember it… they make the best falafels in the greater seattle area… crispy outside, moist and cooked inside… and that lovely purple slaw 😋. “I had heard that Eltana makes good bagels. Now that I have tried them for myself, I must respectfully disagree. "Good" is a word used to describe, for example, a bagel that you might enjoy having for breakfast. At a stretch, perhaps even a breakfast you would fondly anticipate while thinking about it the night before. These are not "good" bagels. These are dangerous bagels. These are profound bagels. These are fugitive toric avatars from some fragrant and crispy celestial realm. I should have ordered more. - C“

Continues to be my go to favorite mediterranean restaurant. The spanakopita, tziziki and gyro salad are delicious, filling light and nutritious. Thank the staff for being great at food preparation and customer service.

I went in hungry. I've visited many times before, and the heat of the day had worn me out. I ordered the falafel sandwich, my number one favorite, along with a gyro and greek fries. Somehow the order was misinterpreted and I wound up with regular fries and a gyro without my falafel. I was told they had run out of falafel, after ordering and paying. I was willing to wait the 5 - 10 minutes, however I hadn't eaten all morning, it was 2pm and did I mention I was hungry...no I was hangry.

The professionalism and courtesy of the staff, in resolving the issue was above reproach. I received my order of greek fries, a mango nectar while I waited, for what the chef and I agreed on instead of the falafel, an eggplant sandwich. Let me say it was a delicious replacement, not vegan, however vegetarian and worth it.

I am thankful to the three young people for their patience with me and my hangry.

I apologize and my family and I will continue to encourage others to patronize, as well as continue to patronize ourselves.

Fresh food, great fries, and tasty baklava. Sometimes it’s not just the food, but the human behind the counter working towards their dream. Support local.“

“I can't believe I have lived down the street for almost a year before trying this place!
It's literally the best.
The falafel was crisp and light, the veggies were all fresh and tasty, but the flavorful and plentiful sauce was the star of the sandwich for me.
I also couldn't resist the pistachio baklava, which is also fresh and light and somehow both crispy and melty.
I'll certainly become a regular here. (And I'll be able to afford to be a regular here too somehow. )

Vegetarian options: They have the standard Mediterranean takeout menu with pictures of the items available. I feel that if you are a vegetarian you likely already understand this cuisine and generally what will be good to order.“

Generously portioned for two, the spread featured an array of fresh, delectable dishes that showcased the chef's skill. Standouts included the cheese pastry and a rich, tomato, cheesy egg stew. However, the true pièce de résistance was the heavenly honey and cream, perfectly paired with crusty bread - a flavor combination that bordered on sublime. “The owner is incredibly personable and is very involved with his restaurant. His staff is very attentive and have excellent customer service skills. I chose a faster made food, the Chicken Kabob (recommended by the owner) and there was nothing that made it feel rushed or made cheap even though the price was amazing for the amount of food that came about 10 mins after ordering. BEST DARN KABOB I'VE EVER HAD IN SEATTLE. I'm sad I didn't try this place out when I lived in the neighborhood 10 yrs ago. I'd be a lot fatter by now...“

“The food is delicious . Everything is made with pride . It’s all fresh and made in house . Since it’s fresh and made to order , you will have to wait . It is worth it . I highly recommend the Greek french fries , amazing. Also I would not skip the chai tea or baklava, both so good. Friendly family business that appreciates its customers. The only thing I did not like was not their fault . Customers constantly talking loudly on cell phone , incredibly annoying ringers going off from multiple phones, some very loud voices . It’s a tiny place with close tables so hear everything. It has lovely lighting from beautiful lamps and is nicely decorated. I just wish some of the customers more considerate .“
