“Stopped by on a Saturday in March around 11:45am. Only two other customers sitting at the seafood bar so we had our choice of seats. Friendly server at the bar, delivered menus right away and took our drink orders. The Squaxin Island Signature Saute with shrimp and tequila lime sauce was super delicious and delivered hot on the plate within 5 mins after ordering. Sauteed vegetables were very fresh, shrimp were tasty and rice pilaf was also very good. Fish and chips with beer battered halibut was also served hot and was very tasty. Fries were crispy and fish was also crispy, hot and delicious.We were impressed with the food and service at this seafood bar/restaurant and highly recommend the Signature Saute dishes and fish and chips. We will return next time we are anywhere nearby.“

“This restaurant is like taking a step back in time. It is your classic old school diner. It's dated but that brought back great childhood memories. The interior is clean. The menu has a great selection. I have only been there for breakfast and was pleased. I spoke to the cook; nice guy. He told me they make the chicken fried steak from scratch. I gave it a shot and it was great. I have also had their omelettes. The meal portions are generous and tasty.“

“What an amazing experience having a bite to eat at this lovely place right on Hood Canal. Very friendly people, several fire pits outside that they keep stoked with lots of wood. The view is breathtaking and the food is delicious. Oysters, chowder, sandos, and so much more!“
