“Yesterday, I had a taste for a donut, but not from the store and I remembered Lone Star Donuts was in the SK Mall, so I went in to get "a" donut. Ended up getting a few and When I tell you it was worth the stop, believe me it was indeed! Loved them and the person that waited on me was awesome. Thank you for the extra treat!!!! “Solid doughnut shop with a huge variety of classic and unique flavors, all clearly made with high-quality ingredients. My favorite, by far, is the old-fashioned doughnut, which is somehow more rich, moist, and buttery than your average, while still maintaining a nice crispy exterior. Aside from that, I really love all the different icings, which actually taste like their flavors rather than just being different colors. The filled doughnuts are also awesome, again with very bold flavors! They also serve kolaches, which are basically hot dogs baked into a brioche-style bun. They're a Texas thing so you don't find them around here very often.

That said, I wasn't a huge fan of the bear claw or the cinnamon roll, which seemed to be filled with just plain cinnamon, not mixed with butter or sugar or anything else you'd expect. It led to a somewhat bitter and bland filling.

Also note that they don't offer any drinks at this location (aside from a handful of cans and bottles from the fridge).“

“Tried this place after lunch and can't recommend it enough. Reminds me of more hometown cafes than whats around it. No pressure to hurry and order, a visual monthly menu and big font everyday menus, with good volume quality tunes. I love the decore and local art support is above and beyond. The back corner is going to be a normal spot for me now“
