“All foods taste are really great!! Spicy and regular chicken teriyaki was fantastic. Beef short rib teriyaki, cali roll, vegi and shrimp tempura, shrimp yakisoba, was amazing. The owner was kind as well. You should visit and order food here :)“

“We always order tons of their toro nigiri, it’s super fresh and delicious. We first had toro in Japan and we were so amazed at the fatty fish, when we came back home to Stanwood we thought we would never get to eat toro as good as Japan but we tried Shima’s. The toro that Dan served us was 100% was better than sushi places in San Francisco, Seattle, and specifically Japan. The service was so amazing, and the staff was very friendly. We will be sure to bring all of our family and friends here to support a local family business!“

“We had family leaving by train from Stanwood and were looking for a place to get breakfast that was near the station.

First off - Ana - our SOLO - Host -Chef - Waiter was AMAZING!!! I can't express this enough!

Walked in as a group of 5 with no notice early that morning and BY HERSELF she handled our ENTIRE service.

She greeted us - Slid two heavy tables together and got us seated immediately - Got our drinks quickly. We took our time to figure out our orders, then Ana took our orders graciously and walked straight into the kitchen and cooked and plated everything for us herself!!!!

We were all very satisfied with breakfast (I had a hash that was exactly what was described in the menu and delicious)

Pretty sure we had clean plates all around.

The general consensus was - I felt like mom just made us all breakfast at home!

Parking: When the train is in town getting out of your parking spot can be difficult with poor visibility.“

“Whenever I pass through Seattle and have time, I try to find my way to Raliberto's in Everett...so when I went to Stanwood for a meeting and came across this location, I was not only pleasantly surprised little Stanwood had a taco shop, but excited it was Rali's!

I grew up in San Diego, where carne asada everything (tacos, burritos, fries, nachos) were introduced to me- and my love for it began. No place in WA that I have been to comes close- until discovering Raliberto's- this Stanwood location is included.

I ordered a carne asada burrito and tamarindo juice on my first visit. The burrito was up to par! The carne was flavorful, pico was fresh and the guacamole was just right. My very tiny critique was the flour tortilla felt a little thick and not as hot as I'm used to but I was still more than happy with my food. Juice was a perfect compliment to my food.

Also, the young gentleman at the counter went above and beyond! He was friendly and kind, saying hello when I walked in, took my order promptly, and walked both my juice and food over to me while I waited. If there was a rude man working previously, this was not him. Not to mention his smile might bring back some old customers and hopefully bring in some new ones! Thanks for a great first impression of the Stanwood location- so happy I accidentally found it!“
