“This post is from Pacific Northwest Foodies. Doc’s Marina Grill ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I’ve been on the quest for a great Crab Louie salad for a few years. Sadly, this classic crab salad is hard to find even in states like Washington. I suspect it has to do with most people not wanting to pay a lot of money for a salad, but if you’ve ever had a great one, you know this one is worth it. After doing a lot of research, I made a point to try the one at Doc’s Marina Grill on Bainbridge Island, Washington. There’s also a location in Port Townsend, Washington. For starters, I ordered a cup of Doc’s House Made Clam Chowder ($8) - famous because it’s “oh-so-good!” It needed a sprinkle of salt, but it was very good. For my entrée, I ordered Doc’s Dungeness Crab Louie ($38) - mixed greens topped with tender crab, seasonal vegetables, heirloom tomatoes and Doc’s house-made Louie dressing. I was impressed! I would rate Doc’s Crab Louie a 4/5. It was beautifully presented, had a generous portion of crab, and the house made Louie dressing was excellent! I would give this salad a perfect rating if they removed the red onion, and added a few black olives and asparagus spears. Even so, I was very happy with my salad and would rank it among one the best Crab Louie’s I’ve ever had. It is certainly the best I’ve had in Washington state. In addition to serving great food, I really enjoyed the ambience of Doc’s, and the service was excellent! I look forward to visiting again and try and some new menu items. *The upstairs level and bathrooms are wheelchair accessible. * There is an opening above the urinal that is a giant periscope. It provides a panoramic view of Eagle Harbor. It was designed by Lee Scott, a Carnegie Mellon graduate student. If you don’t use a urinal, but are interested in seeing the periscope, staff will clear the room so you can check it out too. I didn’t know about this until after my visit. Next time, I will be sure to check it out. 😊 Highly Recommended!!!“

“Well the noodles were overcooked they were a little gummy my steak was a little chewy and lots of gristle so I can only eat about half of it all the appetizers were really good the margarita was great overall it was a okay experience the stakes are usually a lot better than what this was but I guess that happens sometimes“

“Folks, this is not a “simple food” place. This is downtown Seattle food all the way! Many of us from Poulsbo have become accustomed to eating in the city and this place satisfies. The food from there is more complicated—I would say more interesting—than what most of us grew up eating. Field House has that kind of elevated menu. It’s a very casual setting offering outstanding menu choices. For those looking to feed their more refined palette (aka: big city transplants), this is your place. This menu was created by a Seattle chef and takes advantage of the high-end, delicious ingredients that Town and Country offers. Even their burgers (Wagyu Beef? Are you kidding me?) are amazing. Nice fries included. Tell me a decent place ANYWHERE that has that level of burger at Red Robin prices. For drinkers, (not me) they offer beer on tap and I think wine, too. I’ve been there four times: Had the Blue Bacon Burger twice and the Bbq brisket sandwiches once, and their Fish and Chips. Soo freaking good. If you want your grandma’s diner-style cooking, you need a different place. But, if you are into heightened flavors like house-made garlic aioli and arugula on your burger and house-made smoky-tangy or pineapple infused bbq sauce for your brisket sandwich, you should give this place a shot. BTW, they have a killer artisan Root Beer on tap, too. YUM. “…AND a Root Beer Float, Please. ”“

“Every time I've ordered here, the food is delicious, consistent, and accurate. They have a feature on your phone which lets you tell them when you're on your way, so when you pick up your order the fries are nice and hot. The staff are always super nice to my boyfriend and make the experience overall worth it.“

“Went thru the over crowded drive thru that took a long time to get up to pay. That's the only reason I gave it 4 stars, not 5. The food was good and hot, and freshly made. The people working the window were very nice and helpful, eager to please. I would recommend this place but I would add that you should go in instead of using the drive thru on busy days.“

“I had a great experience at this McDonald’s location on the morning of July 8, 2025, around 10:50 AM. Despite it being a busy time, the staff handled everything with speed, efficiency, and a smile.

A big thank you to Manager Rex for the fantastic customer service! it’s clear that he leads by example. I also want to give a special shoutout to the drive-thru girl (I didn’t catch her name) for being so polite, quick, and professional. Her teamwork with the rest of the crew was impressive.

“Heart warming experience!
(A must read)

My husband and I visited this restaurant on 5/10/25 for brunch. We were well received and seated. A lovely young lady (Samantha L) took our order. After she walked away I realized something was wrong with my Pandora bracelet. I released the lock and in the process I lost one of the charms that my husband had just gotten me for Mother's Day. The charm rolled off the seat in between the booth bench and the wall and fell all the way down into a crevice under the bench. We reached out for assistance from the manager. His name is Steve Miller. Mr Miller attempted to retrieve the wedged charm but was unsuccessful. He advised us that when he had a chance, he would get his tools and search for the charm. Since it would be later when the restaurant was less busy, he asked for my name & phone number to call when he found it. We said thank you and our food arrived.

The food was hot and we got exactly what we ordered. The portions were more than enough and the flavors were on point. We received excellent quality service. The restaurant was semi busy but quiet. Clean tables, clean floors and a great atmosphere.

Mr. Miller assured us again that he would look for my charm. We paid our bill and left wondering if the charm would be found. We headed home and half way there Mr Miller called and said he had retrieved the charm. We were elated and turned around and came back.

The staff at this restaurant were kind and sympathetic with us during this experience. Mr. Miller went above & beyond to find my charm and made my Mother's Day! We are so very happy with the outcome and their willingness to help. They deserve and got a 5 star rating from us. If I could give a higher rating I would! Thank you so very much Mr. Miller & staff, you ROCK!“

“I took my granddaughter for lunch on her birthday. Our server was absolutely awesome. The food was better than anything I've had there. I had the the most amazing whiskey barbecue chicken wrap. It was so delicious that when I offered my granddaughter a bite,(she kinda picky), she put down her burger and decided mine was too delicious to pass up!“
