“I haven't been to Kizuki in like 7 or so years and that was one of their Seattle locations, so I was really excited to hear that one in Tacoma opened up! My boyfriend and I decided to stop by as he is a huge Attack on Titan fan and they recently started a collab with Kizuki! As we spotted their location inside the mall, we saw cool Attack on Titan decals and were greeted warmly by one of the employees who then guided us to our table. I love that the tables already have menus on top of them and we started looking at what we wanted to eat and drink. My boyfriend got the chashu ramen combo with the lychee lemonade, I got the spicy ramen combo with the passionfruit lemonade, and we got the chicken karaage izakaya combo. My boyfriend also got the T-shirt which was really cool and apparently they are going to be raising the price starting today so glad we went the day prior!
The space was gorgeous and I love how cozy the ambiance was. It was brightly lit and they were play different decades of Japanese pop which was nice. I love that there is a cute storage of napkins and forks at the table that holds the sauces or seasoning as well as paper straws. The employees were great about checking in on customers throughout their dining but not too much or too little. It was the perfect spot to be at during the chilly autumn weather. The Attack on Titan collab artwork and decals were placed in such organized and perfect spots throughout the restaurant windows and there were two standees at the entrance.
Now for drinks and food, we got our drinks first and they were just given to us in regular cups. When we asked our waiter about the special cups that the drinks were supposed to come in, our waiter politely told us that he would get us the cups to take home which was thoughtful as it would be pain to take them when they had lemonade in them. I enjoyed my passionfruit lemonade but felt my boyfriend's lychee lemonade tasted a little off. Then, we got our chicken karaage and it was delicious! We really loved the sauce and I really like the meat inside as it was tender. Then we got our ramen and those bowls may look small but they are deceptively huge with their toppings, noodles, and broth! I wanted to try my boyfriend's broth and get more broth but I underestimated how much of my food that I had, so I didn't get a chance to try it out.. I also am very happy and impressed with their spicy level as I ordered hot and they delivered so be wary for those who cannot handle spicy. I did add more chili oil and togarashi though because I'm a sucker for spiciness. I felt the pork broth was too salty and wished they had a less sodium option available but it seems that's only their shoyu ramen broth. The chashu was also salty but I did like it as it was huge and tender. I usually drink all my broth in all the other ramen spots I go to and I would have loved to do the same at Kizuki but it was just too salty for me.
We really appreciate the service here as everyone was friendly and helpful during our time here, even when they were an hour away from closing. We look forward to coming back and trying out other menu items!“

“Took my soup loving teenager today for a little me time. So good dude. I had tortellini chicken soup and he had tomato Gorgonzola. Pricing was very reasonable. You can taste the passion that goes into this, the texture/consistency was rather runny for what I expected but packed SOOOO much flavor. Literally best soup we’ve ever had. We both loved the vibe as well. Stop in, pick up a cup, and sit by the beach with a loved one for a great lunch/dinner. You won’t regret it!“

Even though there was a big crowd they looked relaxed. You didn't feel rushed. A great place to enjoy delicious food.“

“Certain things remain the same, but there is a loss of spirit since original owners Jaime and Jason went South. Great staff as ever. The burger was excellent, the tacos were ok.
It was not busy when we went at 830 on a Saturday... But the music was really loud and I wasn't crazy about the album they were playing. The lack of musical variety hastened our departure. Certainly it's the staff choice on music but a whole hour of it wasn't for me.
2017 Review:
While it's become too crowded at night for me to venture in as much due to the college aged scene, I'll brave the neighbourhood crowd during the day for ToT's fantastic menu of sandwiches, salads, nachos and other yummy stuff. Great veggie selections - I order their Buddha Belly wrap most of the time. Delish!
The staff here is amazing. I'm a ToT fan for life!“

“During my stay at the Murano, I had the pleasure to experience both the breakfast and dinner menus at the Bite restaurant located on the 4th floor. When I first arrived, I met an associate for coffee and Deborah made us the Mocha and Latte, both were great. She mentioned the restaurant opened up for dinner and invited us back. KB was my dinner server, he was attentive and friendly. Mayra was my server for breakfast and she was incredible. There were also 2 other staff members who periodically check in, so no definitely no shortage of good service. I had the overnight oats, which was a balance of sweet, with a bit of nutrition. Although it is considered a “small” on the menu, I found it to be perfectly filling.Highly recommend giving this place a try. For the food, the ambiance, and the friendly staff. I will definitely be coming back.“

“Just went there for the first time and we were super impressed with how fast our food came out! I ordered the breakfast burrito and it was hands down the best breakfast burrito I have ever had, normally places have way too much eggs in them but not here! Perfect! Great coffee too. Our waitress was super kind and cool as well!
We will definitely be coming back.
Edit: I forgot to mention, bring cash to pay and your meal will be cheaper!“

“This is one of our absolute favorite spots in Tacoma. A friendly, fun, and quirky place. Always an excellent selection of local beers, including their house IPA. If you know what you like, the staff are great at finding the right beer (or other beverage) for you. The food is fantastic and not "just a hot dog". My go-to are the Bahn Mi dog, a garlic chicken sausage with pickled carrots, jalapenos, Sriracha mayo, and a Vietnamese herb vinaigrette, and the Destiny City Slaw Dog with an all beef dog, chili, and southern slaw was a staple. The vegan menu also has great choices, like the Goodfella, a field roast Italian sausage with marinara, vegan mozz , and hot pickled peppers. Being right on 6th Ave, there's plenty to check out withing walking distance.“

“Best place to have pizza in Tacoma, friendly service wonderful entertainment and great Neapolitan pizza.
Vegetarian options: The spicy green pizza and original Margarita are both filled with flavorful sauces, the pizza dough is full of the sweet almost savory flavor of wheat, mixed with melted mozzarella on top yum.“

“Decent place in my opinion, but just seemed oddly expensive. To be fair, I was a tourist and not from the state, but a simple breakfast for 3 people turned out to be $75 with tip… I’m not sure, I was just kind of surprised. Ambiance was nothing crazy cool but certainly clean and decent service.“

“I don’t know why it took us so long to eat here but we stopped by today after going to Sallys. I got the sushi special. It was really yummy! Very fresh tasting nigiri. It came with miso soup, and house salad. It was so much food! My girlfriend got the surf and turf with special roll. Her yakisoba was very tasty. We’ll definitely be back.“

“BANGING💥 SANDWICHES! If I'm in the area I usually swing by for lunch and get the Ruben Sandwich. The place has been and for a while, I recommend getting a cold one while enjoying your meal. The place feels very rustic and full of history. The staff are some pretty amazing people. Sometimes it can get pretty packed but, I just wait it out personally.“

“1st let me say..had food twice, once from order service and other in person. Both times the service and food were great! The manager is very nice and respectful along with the staff. The funny differences from other sushi restaurants are the fact you have to order everything by QR code ( so if you want a mobile device free night..not gonna happen) and your order comes via a robot! Now that I found funny because I kept on despite directions from the “robot waitress” trying to take food from the other shelves until I got used to things. Speaking on getting “used to”..try maybe 1 or 2 times order something small to get used to how the quantities are served. My friend meant to only get 2 of something and ended up with 3 and I had to eat the extra 1 for respect of the dining rules “whatever is left when you are done you must pay for”. Now the “all you can eat” bit. Please understand that the food here is really good and that they offer quite a unique variety of items to try and eat. That is the meaning of the “all you can eat” here. This is not a legit “all you can eat” restaurant . For $30 you are getting way good quality..so do you want good quality or high quantity? In this tight market you can’t really get both. So please be mindful & respectful of this. They do sadly have techniques to let you know when you are reaching “their” maximum..and after much thought…I can respect that. Overall the food, service and everything else was excellent. I ate mostly the sashimi which I thought tasted fresh and buttery when needed to be and when ate rolls I had the rolls that were cooked and those were handled expertly. My friends had the coconut shrimp which was the favorite for them and such like items. One said the ribs were tough and the fried rice was too hard. Overall I will return and be more “menu venturing “ knowing that there is actually a limit. Again..out of respect, please respect quality over quantity.“

“The store is like half vegan! The owner is the sweetest person I've ever met and the food is so good. One of the only places to get vegan palmiers and other puff pastries plus Mexican wedding cookies. (Don't get the macarons though.) I stop by literally every time I drive through Tacoma.“

“I can't say enough about how delicious the food is. And please check it out if you don't believe me but it's cheaper than joke in the box or macd machine and the food is so worth it also supports local food service and owners instead of the big food machine's.“

“Excellent food and great service. Start with their incredible bacon poblano guac. Order any entree because they're all good, but honestly, order the chile con carne. Hands down the best chile con carne in the PNW. Pair that with their sangria. You won't regret it.
Grab patio seating on a nice day. The glass pool from the Museum of Glass (next door) is a lovely aesthetic.“

“Great bagels and a restaurant that has its own unique voice and is not afraid to show it! Service was friendly and fun and the food was delicious.
Only bummer was that they are so good and so popular that they were packed at 10am on a Thursday! Come with a plan for a short wait and maybe to enjoy your food on the go or wait a bit until there are spots available. I promise, it will be worth it.“
