The restaurant wasn’t very busy but we waited for a very long time to actually be served after being seated. Then once food was finally ordered our waitress never came back until the very end of our dinner to ask if we wanted refills & take our trays. My fried pickles were super flimsy not crunch at all which was a bummer since they’re my favorite. After waiting a long time to pay out, At that point we were done so we just passed on refills and headed out.“

“The restaurant was excellent. The food was delicious and the drinks were even better. The selection of whiskeys they had was unlike anything I've ever seen. Their specialty cocktails were superb. The location is right at the entry of the Public Market Center. There were 4 of us at the table and we all shared the Baked Fontina appetizer, Hanger Steak, and Fried Pork Shank. The portions were so big that between the four of us, we couldn't finish the food at the table. The restaurant was a little loud but there were 3 tables of more than 8 people in there so we contributed the noise to that. The place is small but doesn't feel cramped. If you like good drinks or good food, this place should be on your list of places to eat in Seattle.“

Best wings in Seattle, hands down! We stopped at Golden Rooster on our way to the Seahawks game, and it was a game-changer. Walking in, the vibe was electric and welcoming, setting the tone for what would be an incredible meal. We were lucky enough to get a taste of the Korean BBQ wings (I think it was the owner who brought them over as samples!), and wow – they were beyond tasty. Those flavors sealed the deal, and we immediately ordered 30 wings, plus their sweet potato fries and some chicken strips. Everything was top-notch!

The wings were crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor, and the sweet potato fries were the perfect side. This place is a must-stop spot in Seattle, and it's officially our go-to before every Hawks game. “Been reading about this burger for months now, and I finally willed myself to go down there to check it out. I had the double tavern and the chili fries. I’ll start with the fries, crispy and hand cut. The chili and was great and the sour cream and scallions were a nice touch. Huge portions though so they’re great for sharing. Now the burger, I had moderate expectations based off reviews and pictures. I always leave establishments disappointed when I have higher expectations so I came in with an open mind. I decided to dine in because all food tastes better when it’s Hot and fresh, and it was just that. The meat was cooked perfectly, the cheese melted all the way through, and the sauce was nice and light. The onions gave it a nice kick as well. It was very good. Beware, although it is a double, it is kind of small, so you can definitely kill a couple of them before you start feeling full. It’s really good overall, and I’ll definitely put it in my top burgers in Seattle (probably right next to The Red Mill.) These burgers were also a nice change of pace to fast food burgers, more expensive and the fries are extra but really worth it if you want just a nice, juicy, messy burger. I’ll be back to try the rest of the menu items.“

“8-bit Arcade said they were wheelchair accessible and guess what?! THEY WERE. Not only could I get through the aisles, but the bathroom set up was an example in inclusion!! The door was easy to open and lock, the sink was easy to get under, the doorway was absolutely wide enough to get in and out of and there was enough room to maneuver for my wheelchair inside the bathroom!!!! It was amazing. Plus the staff was kind, courteous and even gave us a warning when the loud speakers, near us, were used!! Absolutely recommend!! 🫶“

The food was as is described; comfort. The lumpia was a stand out as well as the veggie patties. Next time I will definitely be trying the Ube Bread Pudding.

“I love this place. Bouncer is incredibly nice. Bottlenecks a little bit in the entryway but the floor in front of the stage always has a good amount of room. Sound is solid and some interesting acts have rolled through. Very historic spot. Drinks aren’t particularly cheap but sometimes the cover is only like $5.

Dark dark dark room with dim candle like lights and wicked sick music that just sets the vibe.
