“We had such a great experience at Bahama Breeze that we ended up coming back twice, simply because the food was that yummy. From the moment you walk in, the restaurant feels like a relaxing tropical escape. The space is open and welcoming, with high ceilings, exposed wooden beams, colorful island style murals, greenery, and warm lighting that creates a very comfortable and cheerful atmosphere. It is the kind of place where you immediately feel at ease and want to take your time and enjoy the experience.

The food was consistently delicious on both visits. We ordered shrimp tacos, a veggie burger with fries, and the crab dip as an appetizer. The shrimp tacos were fresh, flavorful, and generously filled, with sauces and toppings that worked really well together. Each bite was satisfying and well balanced. The veggie burger was a pleasant surprise, very tasty, filling, and served with crispy fries that were cooked just right. The crab dip was rich, warm, and comforting, served with plenty of chips, and it quickly became one of our favorite items. It was honestly one of the main reasons we decided to return again.

The drinks were refreshing and complemented the food nicely, adding to the tropical feel of the meal. Service was friendly, attentive, and smooth on both visits. The staff made us feel welcome and gave us space to enjoy our time without rushing us.

Overall, Bahama Breeze is a great choice in Seattle for a relaxed lunch, a casual dinner, or a fun get together with friends or family. When a restaurant makes you want to come back again just for the taste, atmosphere, and overall experience, that says a lot. This is definitely a place we would happily visit again.“

“We LOVED the amazing options for vegetarians! Different lentil dishes, some spicy, some not. There was a cabbage dish, a beet dish, and salad that was dressed to perfection. “Twin Peaks is a great sports bar! They have at least a dozen large screen TVs along the walls and above the center bar seating. They also have smaller TVs at each of the seating booths. “Our first time here! It's tucked away with the other businesses near Pike Place Market. It's where Wild Fish Poke is and you'll see their sign on the right and then up the stairs! It's across from Matt's in the Market and on the 2nd floor. Place is small so they DO require a reservation! They have an assortment of drinks, several bourbons and whiskey. I got the autumns mark which has 4 different liquors and fall spices. My bf tried the "pickle back" which is a shot of bourbon + a shot of pickle juice. I'm not a fan of bourbon but man, you gotta try the pickle juice! If you like pickles, you will like this, their own recipe too! The loaded tots you must get! Truly loaded with tender pulled pork, pickled goat horn peppers (so good), smoked cheddar cheese, GRAVY and a soft fried egg on top! I LOVED their braised beef brisket! Three hunks of beef, slowly braised and oh so tender with arugula on the side and some nice buttered onions with subtle horseradish crème on the side. Dip the beef in that crème and braised sauce, delicious! To end the good food and drinks, we had the fried bread pudding that had bourbon caramel and whipped cream. You NEED TWO of these! Like it was that good and good for one person if you ask me. Our server was delightful and entertaining! Atmosphere has nice vibes, definitely casual.“

When I arrived at Family Friend, I honestly wasn’t sure if we were in the right spot. This hidden treasure only reveals itself by a small neon sign — unassuming, but absolutely worth the find. Once inside, I felt an immediate sense of warmth and comfort.

There was no hostess at first, but we were seated quickly by Sharon, whose smile and energy could light up any room. Her service alone deserves a standing ovation — patient, kind, and passionate about every dish she described.

🍲 Start with the Corn Soup (Rosary Style) — sweet corn, tender chicken thighs, coconut milk, onion, and garlic. It’s silky, vibrant, and layered with comfort and spice.

🥬 The Gollai Hågun Sope — mustard greens & kale in coconut milk and turmeric over corn. A vegan dream — not a large portion, but rich in flavor and nourishment.

🥟 Riyenu Empanadas — beautiful in presentation, though a bit too fried for my taste. The creamy green fina’dene sauce, however, was divine and worth the order alone.

🍹 Signature Old Fashioned — honey-forward and sweeter than expected; if you’re a traditionalist, you might prefer a classic version.

The outdoor patio was my favorite surprise — warm heaters, cozy art-covered walls, and an intimate setup perfect for date nights or quiet reflection. Accessibility was great, and while I wouldn’t call it “kid-focused,” it’s perfect for adults seeking calm conversation and quality food.

“Had a great time at Central Saloon. The bartender’s name was Carly, and she absolutely crushed it. She had full control of the bar and handled a busy crowd with confidence, keeping service smooth and maintaining a great pace the entire time. She never once looked stressed. She kept the night entertaining and fun while still running a tight, well-managed bar. You can tell she’s experienced, professional, and genuinely great at what she does. That kind of bartending makes the whole place better and definitely makes me want to come back for more.“

“Been reading about this burger for months now, and I finally willed myself to go down there to check it out. I had the double tavern and the chili fries. I’ll start with the fries, crispy and hand cut. The chili and was great and the sour cream and scallions were a nice touch. Huge portions though so they’re great for sharing. Now the burger, I had moderate expectations based off reviews and pictures. I always leave establishments disappointed when I have higher expectations so I came in with an open mind. I decided to dine in because all food tastes better when it’s Hot and fresh, and it was just that. The meat was cooked perfectly, the cheese melted all the way through, and the sauce was nice and light. The onions gave it a nice kick as well. It was very good. Beware, although it is a double, it is kind of small, so you can definitely kill a couple of them before you start feeling full. It’s really good overall, and I’ll definitely put it in my top burgers in Seattle (probably right next to The Red Mill.) These burgers were also a nice change of pace to fast food burgers, more expensive and the fries are extra but really worth it if you want just a nice, juicy, messy burger. I’ll be back to try the rest of the menu items.“

“8-bit Arcade said they were wheelchair accessible and guess what?! THEY WERE. Not only could I get through the aisles, but the bathroom set up was an example in inclusion!! The door was easy to open and lock, the sink was easy to get under, the doorway was absolutely wide enough to get in and out of and there was enough room to maneuver for my wheelchair inside the bathroom!!!!
