“This mango and milk smoothie with sweet sticky rice is such a unique and delicious combination! The texture is incredibly smooth and literally melts in your mouth. What I really love is that it’s not overly sweet at all — just perfectly balanced and light. It feels refreshing and even a bit healthier than most desserts.

“My service was fantastic. My wife ordered apple pie ala mode and server was unsure how to make it. Really need a better system in place for new employees. The supervisor remade the dish after the new person messed it up. She was very nice. Felt bad for new person because other employees were snickering about the situation. No issues with the mess up. People need to make mistakes to learn. It’s the best way. Doesn’t help to have mean coworkers.“

“I had a great experience at Salt & Straw. One thing I really appreciated is that they let you sample flavors freely, which made the whole visit more fun and interactive.

I tried a few flavors:
• Honey & Lavender: a bit on the sweeter side, with a light, subtle lavender note.
• Sea Salt Caramel: a classic and very popular choice — slightly salty and well-balanced, definitely a safe pick.
• Coffee and Love Nuts: recommended by the staff, and it turned out to be my favorite. Very rich, nutty, and satisfying.

In the end, I went with the Rum Raisin Bundt Cake, which was amazing. The rum flavor really stands out in a unique way, and it balances perfectly with the sweetness.

Overall, great flavors, friendly staff, and a fun tasting experience. I’d definitely come back to try more!“

“What a great, local establishment. You can’t go wrong with any of the sandwiches (the ham salad and the Irish breakfast sandwiches are my favorite). So many flavors of ice cream...all homemade. Locally made chocolates and an amazing assortment of European treats. The owners are so sweet and kind and their staff is always friendly and serves with a smile. Highly recommend (and take a half gallon of ice cream home with you)!“
