“We always have such a great experience here!
The staff is very kind and attentive, and are patient with my kids.
The servings here are very generous! Usually we are taking part of it home for the next day.
My son is a little more particular and they have always made his chicken katsu exactly how he likes it, and every time I've gotten sushi it was a hit!
This is also one of our favorite places for holidays because they are so generous celebrating birthdays!“

“Took my Dad here for Father's Day and it was an amazing experience. Made a 7:30 reservation and they were able to sit us a few minutes early. We got a table right by the windows with a breathtaking view of the water and Mt. Rainier. Our waiter was right was very consistent, and had the perfect banter with my family. Drinks were delicious and the food was even better. Unfortunately not a place I can afford to go to often, but definitely recommend and will be going back again.“

“Waitress needs to be more welcoming...doesn't smile at all. Best large scallops around. We travel about 40 miles each week to eat at the Lakewood Ivar's. Would like to see portions either a bit larger or the prices a bit lower. Or some discount for regular customers would be nice.“

“AMAZING!!! 10/10 Would highly recommend! Hanna are server was excellent never missed a beat with any of our needs. We had the orange berry creamsicle drink, the Italian meat lovers pizza and the big ass burger. Everything was perfect with the pizza being our favorite crispy crust ohhwee gooey cheese it was everything you want a pizza to be! Personally love the fact the establishment is 21+ and plenty of outdoor dining. 1000000% we will be back.“

“I have never had pizza to go and went there tonight. The second I walked in Patrick, Danni and Giuseppe were so warm, welcoming and quite the comedians! They suggested a glass of wine while I waited for my pizza so I went and had a glass of wine. The bartender was just as amazing as them! Love the menu options and revolving specials combined with some good drinks. Definitely lively and can get loud when fills up and has open kitchen so adds to the noise. “The burgers here are quite good, and made with fresh ingredients. The counter person was incredibly polite and friendly. The restaurant was clean, except for a greasy sheen on things like the ketchup bottle and the bathroom doorknob. Overall, a tasty addition to the Lakewood Mall area“

“Customer service was outstanding! Relaxing and fun atmosphere sitting in the sunshine listening to the pleasant Vacation vibes music. Hubby said the cod was excellent and I went with the delicious turkey sandwich on sourdough with cranberry sauce! So tasty! We will definitely eat there again the next time we are up that way.“

However, I was seated next to a booth with 3 VERY loud people who kept getting louder until it sounded like they were shouting (it was friendly talk, not arguing). I had already gotten my food, moving would have been difficult, so I just ate, trying to ignore the noise. I had arrived between “normal” eating times intending to have a relaxing meal listening to a book/music, but it was not to be. I WILL go back (like I said the food is great & service is superb) but will ask not to be seated next to anyone if possible.“

“Tacoma Szechuan is a standard favourite of ours, but it's getting more and more expensive (or so it feels!). We ordered delivery and got the beef chow fun, dried cooked string beans, tofu with hot garlic sauce, and one steamed rice. It was 70$ (with delivery and tip)!! The green beans were AMAZING and the tofu and beef were good, but it was too expensive for us to consider eating there twice in a trip.“
