“My husband and I spotted this gem driving by a few weeks ago and finally stopped in to give it a try. First impression, everybody there had a smile on their face and the bartender genuinely cared you had a good experience. We wanted to try a good majority of food so we got general tso chicken, szechuan chicken, salt + pepper fried pork, and egg foo young. The food was fried to a perfect crisp, the spice levels were perfect (I like it spicy), and the sauces were so tasty. I gave 4 stars for food because the egg foo young wasn't my favorite but was still good. Overall, we can't wait to return for food, free pool, and my favorite..... karaoke!“
“I called to place an order at 7:19, and they close at 7:30, and they happily took my order! When I went to pick up, they were just finishing it up. All the food was perfect! I ordered the Mapo Tofu extra hot, and then she even warned me when she gave me the food that it is hot, and I was! She even brought the food to my car! I highly recommend this place! They even gave us extra appetizers!“
“I've had food here multiple times and I have to say that it is delicious. I love the specials and I love the signature dish (the chicken with a ginger scallion sauce). The beef special with the spicy sauce really rang my bell!. My only suggestion for improvement would to get slightly different cuts of meat so that the people eating aren't chewing on gristle. Still 5 stars; delicious flavors, amazing employees, LOVE this place!“
“I'm so glad my husband and I stumbled upon this mom and pop restaurant. I was craving for wonton soup and saw this place on the way home and decided to try and have early dinner here. The place is small with few tables but it's very clean and a nice friendly staff greet us by the door. We ordered wonton and dumpling soup, pork BBQ steam bun, pork roast and pork BBQ combination rice plate, roast duck and beef brisket combination dry noodles. The food reminded me of my father's cooking, since he passed away I've been missing him so much and these food just reminds me of him. The food we ordered tasted like a home cooked meal. My father was a great cook and his love language was cooking for his family and the food here reminds me of him, like a warm hug. Thank you for this experience, the food here not only feed my hunger but also feed my heart. I will definitely return here. I highly recommend this restaurant if you're looking for an authentic Chinese BBQ and noodle place.“
“They prefer cash but do accept credit cards due to increased merchant fees.Anyways, I drove from Beaverton just to try this spot and I'd do it again since it was worth it. Don't expect a 5 star atmosphere but for what they offer, it hits the spot. I liked it better than the most recent pho (Vietnamese food) I've had. The Chinese donut was delicious too. Not overly sweet. Some might even say not sweet enough.You can modify the type of noodles that the noodle soup comes with. I think I had the thin vermicelli noodles. Others I overheard had the thicker ones.Very laid-back. Limited dine in spots for when they're busy however. But I don't think you can beat the price at this very moment.I ordered the number 9. Brisket and beef noodles.Parking: Lots of graffiti on the fences but there seemed to be plenty of parking when I arrived. May have a difficult time turning left during rush hour however when exiting their premise.“

“I've been eating at Good World since they first opened in the old First Interstate Bank on Sandy Blvd between 106 and 107th next to Parkrose Hardware. I like the full menu and that you can tell them how you like your food prepared, so you can get it as spicy or mild as you desire on all the dishes. All the food here except a couple fish dishes are scratch made to order and look snd taste very good MOST of the time The ambiance is like most quick turnover no frills dining experiences. The size of the portions is still reasonable, and the food quality is still very good. It used to be great, authentic Chinese food. But with changes in cooks the food quality and portion sizes have both diminished a bit over time.The service is passable; they could stand improvement with attentiveness and fixing mistakes when an order comes out wrong, which isn't often; but when it is, they don't hustle and strive to make it right.I like to start with egg flower soup or hot and sour soup, both are good choices here. I also like their spring rolls and the variety of sauces they have for dipping. This is not known as a Dim Sum restaurant, buy there is authentic dim sum service with a good selection of items, but higher than average prices at Good World.My favorite dishes at Good World are Mongolian Beef and Broccoli with Beef, both are excellent. The sweet and sour chicken or pork are also usually very good. Cashew Chicken is good but nothing special. General Tsao's Chicken is very good, perfectly spiced. They have a full bar but don't expect to get anything exotic or that requires a good mixologist.They do have Oregon Lottery in the bar if you are into slots while you waut or after dinner. There is a good full size pool table if you enjoy billiards. The bartender doubles as wait staff in the restaurant so you may have to wait fir service. Prices are competitive with other Chinese restaurants in the area e.g., the Ambassador.There is ample parking for dinner, but not always at lunch in the parking lot that is shared with several other businesses. Lunch prices and portions are reasonably adjusted downward and ate a good value.If you want a good, filling, tasty (and without MSG) Chinese meal that's scratch made from quality local sourced ingredients at a fair price check out Good World, you will be glad you did.Parking: Convenient PARKING can be difficult at lunch when they are busy. It's a shared lot with other businesses. Always plenty of parking after 5:30 when the other businesses sharing the lot are closed.Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome. They have crayons. Tables are spaced appropriately to accommodate families with small children in bassinets and ample for other accommodations, including people with disabilities.“

“Took a late lunch, and we had dinner sum instead. Portion is generous and tasty. Was very pleased with my pork rib and pumpkin congee. First time I've seen it on a menu and loved it. I'm not crazy about the salt and pepper squid as I have better ones from other places. Overall, my husband loves it to declare his favorite dim sum place. Staff is friendly, and service is good as there is no crowd on a mid afternoon weekday. Also, the selection was limited on a weekday.“
“Don't be scared by the exterior of the building, it's a gem inside. Ordered a whole roast pig for a family party at $10 a pound. You have to order it a week in advance but if it's close to a holiday even earlier is better. It was so good, and my family was so happy and honestly they are hard to please especially coming from California where they have tons of options. It was roasted to perfection and seasoned heavily so each piece had a ton of flavor. You have to pay a deposit for the wooden board/trough for the pig and it looks great for pictures! We decided to taste test first a few weeks in advance before committing to a whole pig and bought about a pound ($13 per pound). (We did a taste test at their competition and Best Taste blew it away) That same day we bought the taste test, we ended up picking up some dim sum to go with it. The dim sum has the key basics at a better price than others, it tasted fine...I wouldn't say it's anything to write home about.“
“My previous review was from 7 years ago. I realized, it's time for an update! :) Their food doesn't make me sick anymore. I haven't given up on them! Lol. I know MSG is in Doritos and a lot of other foods we eat everyday and I am sensitive to high quantities of sodium. Did they have MSG in their food??? I can't remember but hopefully I asked them before I posted that. I don't care anyways if there is MSG. Uncle Roger approves!! I try to steer clear of it but my body needs sodium and I LOvE it. It's a love hate relationship, all in moderation, yes?! So anyways, the update: The food is delicious and I love that they updated the front of the restaurant. Their customer service has always been great. Very nice people and they are very attentive to my needs and my cravings lol I love that I can drive by after a long day, order some food from them and zone out while I wait for my order. Bringing my treasure treats home, I always pass out in a food coma after their meals. This is a good thing! I would give another star if they updated the inside of the restaurant with tables and chairs, some interior design. Thank you!“
