“We were greeted immediately. The bartender was friendly and gave me a good recommendation on some delicious grapefruit vodka. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and fries, which we're fresh cut, and the burger was big and delicious. My friend ordered a BLT that she said she wanted to marry. Would definitely recommend!!“

“I have been to the winery and museum a few times but we recently had a girls weekend with 8 of us staying at the Commanders Palace, a beautiful home and very short walk to the winery and museum. We toured the garden and museum as well as enjoyed wine tasting and a wonderful dinner at the winery. I highly recommend visiting. We are planning make an annual weekend tradition of it.“

“Lovely lady working her, was awesome I didn't have to deal with political drama while getting a coffee. She in no way made my purchase about herself. It was a nice change from the typical barista. A major plus was she actually looked normal. Let's hope u guys don't go and change it.“

“I have been here 4 times and I’m never disappointed…. We went today and had AMAZING Food and service yet once again! Today we tasted their Fried Pork belly with a house made sesame ginger soy sauce, delicious Wisconsin cheese curds and the most delightful moist and perfectly fried Halibut. Our waitress was outstanding and very attentive even though they were busy, she made sure that we were well taken care of. I highly recommend this place if you ever visiting the area.“

“Quick stop for lunch and a beer. Staff is friendly and service was quick. We met the owner and visited with him for a bit. We shared the fish and chips and a bowl of chowder. Very good and filling. The fries are some of the best I've had. Just a side note, this place is cash only but they do have an ATM on site that won't charge fees.“

“We had a great time at the shack. Lindsey was amazing. My great nephew loved her, EVEN if she was going to FRY up his new shark😄. Food was fabulous and the servings huge. “This is such a great cafe with great, peaceful ambiance. Lots of different seating areas in several different rooms. Booths, tables, high top tables, counters with seats facing outside and even tables and counter space outside. Great coffee too. I will definitely come here daily when I am in town.“
