“This is our family’s favorite winery in all of Oregon and Washington. Woman owned, progressive, queer and trans supportive, earthy. We visit in all seasons and are always comfortable. Amazing view. Great blankets if you’re sitting outside or cozy up around there for pit. Inside is cozy and artful. The wind is amazing and their tapas are paired well and also very good! The winemakers are often serving and full of great stories about the process.“
“I just wanted to say how much I like going to this winery. It was a good time. My Son took me and the staff are so nice. Chey and Prue are so fun and nice. It was a really good time this was my first time at a winery. They spent time explaining different wines and it was a really fun. Thanks again.“
“Beautiful setting, wonderful people!!“
“Amazing and Comfortable Staff Thank You for the Experience“
“I highly recommend Marchesi Vineyards! Their wine was exquisite, great service, amazing views and ambiance. I felt like i was in Italy!“
“Came for a first time birthday visit with my Bestie. We were greeted immediately, handed a menu and offered a tasting, a glass or a bottle. We received a red tasting, and a white tasting, and, each wine was presented with great detail! Since my friend is a member, we also received a delightful charcuterie board. We ordered the truly INCREDIBLE artichoke dip off the menu... a must have! The wines were delicious, service fantastic, and the view and fall colors were stunning. In addition, we got to meet their precious baby doodle, Gracie... and, as if all that wasn't enough, we were given complimentary truffles for our birthdays!! Needless to say, I, too, am now a member. Love that they make recommendations for the Club selections, but will switch out if you're partial to something else.... no more wines left untouched in our cellar because they weren't my choice! Can't wait to share these delicious wines with family and friends over the Holidays!!! Thank you Carrie (sp?) and Stave and Stone Estates for a great day!“
“Anne was an incredibly knowledgeable server! She was a real delight. We loved our wine flights and ended up leaving with a handful of bottles. The rosé in particular was spectacular but literally ~everything~ was a delight. A truly relaxing afternoon was spent at Idiots Grace! Will definitely be returning some time in the future.“
“Some of the best wines in the immediate region, but also the greater WA and OR areas. Seth, the winemaker has worked alongside some of the biggest names in WA and is receiving critical acclaim for the Upsidedown offerings. With that being said, he and his wife are some of the most friendly and positive people you will ever meet, and this reflects the sort of relaxed, no pressure vibes you'll get in their tasting rooms. Sit back and relax - that's just fine. Want to geek out deeply on wine science and geology - you can also do that! Six stars if I could. I only wish I could get out to this tasting room more often!“
“We brought family in from Texas who were visiting for the first time in 10+ years. They remembered The Pines and old vine zin from a decade ago and wanted to make sure they returned. Geoffrey made it a great experience for them.. loved everything they tasted. Some old vine Zin will make its way on Alaska airlines back to Texas!!“
“Michael and Grace are the perfect hosts / owners / wine makers at this one of a kind winery, love you guys!“
“It was a great experience. Friendly staff and wow, tasty tasty wines! At a great price point!“
“Great selection of wines, absolutely beautiful interior and view of the river. My only disappointment was the Frozé. Tasted like a cheap slushy rather than an actual frozen Rosé drink that cost 16$. The packaging was great tho! Super cool idea.“
“So glad we happened upon this winery on our bike ride! We very much enjoyed the wines, the chocolates served with the honey wine a fun touch. It’s a family business and you can feel (and taste!) the love and experience they have for making wines. We joined the wine club and look forward to our next visit.“
“I came here once on a vacation to seaside. This is a good place to stop on your way. I talked to the owner here. He was very friendly and knowledgeable in explaining the wine making process. I bought a bottle of there wine here for my mom. It wasn't to expensive but I'm not really a wine connoisseur so I don't know about what tastes best for the value. All I know was they have a real nice view here.“
“Hiyu is AMAZING. We have been countless times since they've opened. Nate (the winemaker) is brilliant and Jason (the chef) makes the most amazing pairings - sourced locally from their gardens. We have done the lunch and the fancy dinner. While pricey, they are well worth it and you get such memorable experience. The venue is intimate and cozy year round. I can't describe it - just go!“
“5$ to taste all they've got, but they have mostly port so you'll want to watch it to make it up and down the gravel driveway out there. It's a bit of a trek, off the beaten path as compared to the rest of the fruit loop, but worth the drive. Excellent wines all of them.“
“Great wines and friendliness“
“Super awesome place, flew here by airplane. Winery is short walk from airport, Tessa and other services were nice and remember from a previous visit. Got French fries, and other drink. Great atmosphere and fabric shades reminiscent of ship sails.
Great place, would return again. Good so see friendly dogs and even a cat there“
