“Tatum was outstanding! What a horrible day I was having. Ending up getting towed to the shop next door to locust. While walking away from my dead car I realized I was in the parking lot of locust cider! Tatum made my day!!! She was kind and patient and very beautiful (inside and out!). She also must have some serious magic abilities…. I tried the engine one more time and my car started!!-

“I’ve been craving a good gukbap for many months and finally got a chance to go for my birthday, which happened to be a gloomy day. I got the Grandpa’s Pig Bone Soup, which is basically just a bowl of goodness. It comes with meat and veggies in a thick broth. I asked for extra spice on the side, which is perfect if you love a kick. Also, add some more salt to taste if needed. My family also ordered meat for kbbq, which is good as well. We went on a weekday in the afternoon after lunch and before dinner time, so there was no one else in the restaurant and we were fully able to enjoy ourselves ? For me, I would most definitely go back for the gukbap and to try their other dishes on the menu!!“

“Special Brews is a gem for beer enthusiasts! This bottle/taproom offers an impressive selection of beers to either take home or enjoy in their cozy sit-down area. The variety on tap is fantastic, and there's always something new and exciting to try.

One thing to note is the $2 corking fee for drinking a can in the bar area, but with the incredible selection available, it's a small price to pay. The bartenders here are super nice and always ready to help you find the perfect beer.

I'll definitely be back to explore more of their offerings and take some home as well. If you're in Lynnwood and love beer, Special Brews is a must-visit!“

“Will miss my beer joint, local you fell home here. My last time it was raining and we had a few tasty dark brews. It is just a comfortable place for a beer. Sadly only Friday evening is a food truck available. If you ever in Bothell on a Friday evening stop by for 2 pints.“

Prices a little on the steep side, but this is a prime Seattle neighborhood and the brews are definitely high quality. “I’ve been coming to Kochi Po-Cha for almost 2 years now and keep returning because the food quality and flavors are consistently amazing. The pork belly and chicken katsu are a must-have each time I go. And the late night hours and fun music make this a great spot for weekends.

The restaurant also went through a revamp within the past few months, with new tables and chairs, new menu items, and new complimentary side dishes, all of which were great decisions to improve the dining experience.

The service also improved significantly with this revamp. I notice the food comes out quicker and the servers, especially Bri, are very attentive in refilling side dishes and utensils/napkins without us asking. She provides great service from the moment we sit down to the moment we pack up and leave. We even celebrated a birthday there recently and she brought us complimentary soft serve with a candle in it, and invited a bunch of kind strangers over to sing for our table. She made our night!

“Love the pizza beers are good too I just find the service to be not the greatest but its loud usually and chaotic. They also have like stopped answering the phone for pick up. So there's that too if you like beer pop in during the summer. Seating is limited indoors.“

“What an awesome spot!! Ducked in and had an awesome brunch while visiting friends in Kirkland. Food was amazing, the breakfast smash burger is a must! Such a cool vibe down close to the water, great place to stop in for some top notch food and creative drinks. Kids loved it too with some classics for breakfast and live sports to watch. Servers were engaged and the owners were on point with the location and layout. Our new go to when we're in town!“

“We arrived around 5pm on a Friday night. Wasn't busy at all and I asked the server why it was so quiet. We were told that it'll start picking up later and by 5:30pm there was quite the crowd and the noise level was approaching bar/tavern levels. Not annoying, but since this place is kid friendly, if you want a family outing, go early. Otherwise, any kids with sensory sensitivity are going to be uncomfortable or you'll just not be able to have casual conversation. If you're out with your friends after work, then this place is perfect for you and your crew.

They have their own beers but also have beers from other local. We got a flight of 6 beers and really liked about half of them and the other half were just okay. Definitely worth trying a flight to see what suits your tastes before ordering a pint.

The loaded tots are fantastic. Great presentation. With the bacon and green onion, it combines to make a great flavor. I highly recommend this app before jumping into an entree.

The shepherds pie is a standard shepherds pie on a crust. Not bad, but don't expect anything unique.

The burgandy beef pie is good but a little bland for the filling. My suggestion would be to add Worcestershire sauce and garlic to the filling to bring out the flavor. The crust was good and had a buttery flavoring in it.

Outdoor patio is nice but small. If you want to bring Fido, then you're welcome to but out on the patio. Kid/Family friendly but I recommend going before 5pm or the noise levels get a little high. ADA friendly as there is plenty of space between tables for those with a walker or in wheelchairs.

Overall, we love this place and will definitely go back. The service is extremely friendly and that alone is a great selling point for me.“

“We hosted a small gathering in the speakeasy section of Civility and Unrest. The service was good and the food was pretty good as well. Our bartender was great, we definitely did not have any complaints there. The vibes were vibing! Definitely recommend this spot for good food, drinks, and a nice place to have a conversation with friends or a partner.“

“There is limited parking in the front of the building, and more behind it. The booths are the main seating inside, though there is also a bar space and of course their standard tables outside. I love their pizzas and breadsticks, and there are a number of good veggie pizza options. We also discovered on this visit that they had a QR code for their menu and they had added wings, two new things since our last visit. My spouse found the wings a little spicy but also is sensitive to heat; to accommodate that we’d order the wings with sauce on the side. And my favorite drink is always the local root beer on tap.

Kid-friendliness: We weren’t offered a booster for the booth, but otherwise staff was really friendly with our toddler and there was kind support when our kiddo knocked over their water glass across the table.“
