“Métier is such a great community resource. Their coconut porter is as good of a porter as I've had, and even better on nitro at the brewery. Their partnership with Little Brown Girl provides great food to go along with the great beer. I had their shrimp bahn mi sandwich, which was great. “One of our friends described this very Seattle brewery perfectly: You see people playing D&D while the Seahawks are playing. Beers are brewed in house! We love playing games and hanging out here. Friendly staff and fantastic atmosphere. I mean, how can you beat hanging out, drinking and playing board games while watching sci-fi films / Seahawks games? Strangely to some, the most impressive aspect is the restroom setup. Gender neutral rooms with tampons/pads on hand for those who need them. For those who don't typically see this setup, it's kind of a big deal and helps this brewery stand out.“

“Cute little pizzeria. I think it's family owned and operated. The pizza is absolutely delicious. We usually aren't huge fans of wood fired pizza, but this crust was cooked to perfection. It had a great flavor and chew and it wasn't burnt at all. We were only given our waters and never got our drinks we ordered, but there was a large family there who were monopolizing the servers time. Cool place!“

“This is definitely one of the unsung heroes of the brew scene in Seattle and the fact that they opened in 2020 is pretty hardcore considering they are still in business and going strong.

Reaching this place was pretty easy and it is located on a funky corner in the downtown part of Georgetown. Our initial objective was to take part in a ramen cooking class that was supposed to take place somewhere at the brewery, or next to it, but it took place inside the common drinking area next to a wall which was total nonsense. To say that the class was a joke is a gross understatement, but this is in no way a slight to the brewery which was hospitable,great beertenders and knock-down kick ass strong brews. First brew I had was their Project Haze which was a juice bomb of triple dry hopped goodness celebrating their ten years (not at that location I believe). I also got a triple IPA and another one not listed and can't remember the name of. Trust me when I say they will deliver the boozy goods. I also grabbed some stickers because the artwork is really special and unique commissioned by a local guy who is talented and animated with the graphics. If you are looking for a place to unwind after sight seeing, detour here and relax; they'll treat you right!“

On top of that, they have Golden Tee, pull tabs, and a great back patio with a flatscreen and fire pit table in a covered back patio-perfect for chilling with friends! The best part? The staff is absolutely amazing. I came in as a stranger and left feeling like family the very first time I visited. The amount of regulars speaks for itself. TIPS stands for To Insure Prompt Service. You are the server. Starbucks baristas provide more service. Do not feel compelled to Tip. Its just a guy at a counter that rings you up. Positive side, many choices of IPA, cider, wine, sour, and seasonal. Extremely dog friendly. Got a little tipsy.“

“I have only ordered delivery and this place has fulfilled a need for better pizza! I have missed real pizza and unfortunately, this neighborhood is filled with flavorless and strange pizza and then there are the awful chains, ugh. So, if you're across the street and see Big Mario's, please cross the street to them. Do not go to the other places that start with P and Z! They have zero flavor! I just wish that I could add toppings and ask for extra sauce in the instacart app. My only issue is sometimes the pizza shows up with tons of big bubbles. My kids will not eat the slices with bubbles but I must emphasize that this rarely happens. Anyways, I really like their pizza. It's delicious! I grew up eating real pizza from people from Sicily and Italy and I am so sick of Americans ruining it with their strange recipes in Seattle! Big Mario's is a classic and so needed in this flavorless town!“

“Tasty grass fed burgers and tallow fried French fries. Don't pass on the garlic aoli for your fries. The blackberry shake was pretty scrumptious too. Now for the aesthetics, the place could use a good scrubbing. I look at the whole experience and I want my surroundings to be as beautiful as my meal even if it is just a burger and fries. Overall, a good stop for burgers.“

“This bar was super friendly! My experience isn’t gonna fit most people’s as I came in had some chips and a sprite and colored for a bit to sober up before driving home. It was early in the night so pretty empty which was great. Bartender checked in on me often. I plan to stop by again and try some drinks this time“

This is my favorite bar in Capitol Hill. I come here quite frequently with friends but still spend my days daydreaming about my next visit. Playlist NEVER disappoints. It’s a new vibe everyday and I’m always dying to get the link. MAJOR Kudos. My phones wallpaper? Captain Blacks nachos. Playing cards on the deck with a beer and fist full of nachos is my happy place. Love love love love love Captain Blacks.“

“We hosted a company event here, and it was awesome! The owner and on-site staff were wonderful to work with. It’s a fantastic location right by the market and the water, and they have a cool space. We got great feedback from our attendees on the food and drinks. All for very fair prices.

“Great service, the hosts and all the servers were fun and engaged. Kinda hard to find, it's best to go in the side entrance of the W to the valet spot and the bar will be there on the left. The drinks were on the expensive side but were uniformly well made and delicious. Nice kind of hidden bar that wasn't super busy for a Saturday night.“
