“Yesterday was our first time dining here. We were pleasantly impressed. My husband has celiac disease so we are very careful where we eat out. Italianissimo was excellent choice. The service was superb and the food was incredible. We commented on the complex flavors each of our dinners had. The portion size was generous and served hot! There were many options on the menu to chose including from their gluten free menu. We will be going back soon. I highly recommend this restaurant for a delightful dining experience. Thank you, Italianissimo.“

“After eating at sister restaurant The Montalcino, we had to try Vivi. The calamari fritti was amazing! We are calamari snobs and Jon agrees the marinara was perfect and the calamari was still steaming and crunchy halfway through eating the pizza! We got the Quattro Carni (Tomato sauce, mozzarella, sausage, salami, pepperoni, ham.) It was perfect and my DH is the snob on that. He said it had perfect char, perfect crunch, nothing just falling off because it was just thrown on. You can definitely tell it’s from scratch and wood fired. Heck you can watch them! The staff were so nice and friendly, the decor was amazing and the food delicious! I’m glad I live so far away or I’d be 500 lbs! We were thoroughly impressed by both places. It wouldn’t let me post pics 😢“

“From the moment we walked into Ballard Pizza Company, Regan and Emily made us feel like honored guests rather than just customers. Their warmth and friendliness were instantly noticeable—genuine smiles, welcoming energy, and a clear passion for making people feel at home.
Regan went above and beyond to ensure our experience was seamless, offering thoughtful recommendations and checking in without ever being intrusive. Emily’s hospitality was equally outstanding—she anticipated our needs before we even voiced them, and her attention to detail made everything feel effortless.
What truly stood out was how they both went the extra mile. Whether it was accommodating a special request, remembering our names, or simply making sure our table was perfect, Regan and Emily turned a casual pizza night into something memorable. It’s rare to find service that feels this personal and sincere.
Ballard Pizza Company is lucky to have them—Regan and Emily are the kind of team members who elevate the entire dining experience. We’ll absolutely be back, not just for the amazing pizza, but for the incredible people behind it“

“We frequent Amaro and have for nearly six years. It is, by far, one of the most consistent restaurants around. Their food is always delish and the service top notch. Sherman is wonderful! Great place to come with a group, as a couple or even on your own. We enjoy the bar and the bartenders when it's just the two of us. If there was one thing I'd ask for, it would be a few more salad and pizza choices. More variety is always good for us frequent patrons. Keep up the great work!“

“Family run (I think) and feel restaurant with good food and did not leave hungry. Total casual and easy to feel welcome. Home made food and daily specials. I got the feeling you could ask for alterations to meals and they would accommodate. Chef came out to make sure all was good and definitely knew the regulars. He treated everyone as a regular. Would recommend and will go back.“

“This was our first time dining in the restaurant. We had Rimini cater an event and that was fantastic, but this was another level of fun and community. The food was exceptional, the entertainment and bringing people together was so much fun. We are 30 plus year Kirkand residents and business owners and this was the most fun we’ve had downtown in a long time!“

“We had another great experience at Cafe Juanita. I had the vegetarian menu (although I'm not a vegetarian), and my partner had the omnivore menu. As always, the mixed bread plate was fabulous. I loved the chanterelle polenta as well as the radicchio salad. My partner enjoyed the wagyu beef and the Iberico pork. And as always, the parmesan was out of this world. Service, as always, was knowledgeable and professional.“

“For over 20 years we have enjoyed every meal on the menu. They are the only restaurant that I know that make their own pastas, sauces, bread, and desserts. What a difference that makes. Everything is fresh tasting and satisfying. The meatballs are so light and tasty, eat them slowly to enjoy every bite. Not only are their pastas and pizzas delicious so are their appetizers. I love how they roast their eggplant and they serve it in an incredibly rich tomato sauce with Gorgonzola on the side. Their steak is cooked to perfection with an amazing sauce, a grilled pepper, onion, and their incredible handcut shoestring fries that are to die for!! Enjoy“

“An excellent place to celebrate! My husband took me here as a surprise for my birthday and it did not disappoint. Matthew was an excellent server-prompt, knowledgeable and polite. The food was fantastic, the drinks phenomenal and they really know how to make birthdays special without being over the top about it. We will be back and requesting Matthew as a server soon! Cannot recommend this place enough!“

“I don’t usually eat Italian out because I feel I do a good job at home. This place is way better than I can do. The menu/ordering process is a little challenging to figure out but worth the challenge. We’ve been twice and both times excellent. The salads are great, house made mozzarella with these sweet tomatoes and a balsamic reduction - so good! Tonight I had the gluten free pasta with mushrooms and white truffle oil, fried tofu, homemade sausage and ghost pepper oil. It was so freaking good! The atmosphere is fun as well, open, vibrant colors and Italian pop music. Welcome addition to Totem Lake.“

“Andiamo has quickly become a family favorite! The service is always amazing—everyone is warm, attentive, and makes you feel right at home from the moment you walk in.
The food is consistently delicious and thoughtfully prepared, with great portion sizes and very reasonable prices. You can really taste the quality in every bite. It’s hard to pick a favorite dish because everything we’ve tried has been so good!
The atmosphere is lovely—cozy, welcoming, and perfect for everything from a casual weeknight dinner to a special occasion. Whether we’re celebrating something or just grabbing a bite, Andiamo never disappoints.
Highly recommend to anyone looking for authentic Italian food and a place that truly treats you like family.“

“Sadly this restaurant that I previously considered family oriented and reasonably priced is no longer so. My last visit noticed alarming high prices for some of the offerings. Ordered my usual spaghetti with marinati sauce, now advertised as being "spicy" as preactically non eatable. Much too much pepper added for my taste. Verbally complained but was barely listened to.“

“Ate their paneer biryani and it was the worst in the area. I'm surprised because you would think with so many Indian restaurants around, this place should've checked competition before starting it.“

“I like this place. Been driving past it a couple of times, but one day juat decided to check it out. They sell sphagetti in buckets! Which is a very delightful news for a sphagetti lover, like myself. Food is delicious. People who work there are nice. Great place overall!“

“My companion is severely celiac (autoimmune disorder to wheat/gluten). The staff made an effort to point out what was "safe" on the menu, but despite a note on the menu about gluten cross contamination from their fryer, two dishes arrived with fried garnish. I suggest the chef/management/staff should better educate each other.“

“I recommend the Old Spaghetti Factory! The spumoni is the best anywhere! What I wish is that you put the Angel Hair [Capellini] Pomodoro back on the menu as it has always been my favorite on the menu. I can always make it at home but it wouldnt be as great! They did not even have angel hair available for me to somehow piece meal it together off the menu! Outrageous! Please bring it back! Easy to make and economical. Thank you 😋“

“seriously the best gluten free pizza in town!! I always get the green dahlia— I’ve never gotten sick from any gluten contamination, they always go above and beyond to insure there is the least amount of gluten contamination possible. We meet Mike today, who makes the dough early before they open, since there is NO wheat flour floating in the air. I always appreciate the extra effort and kindness from this epic pizza restaurant!“

“I went to this same restaurant a few months ago and gave them a poor rating based on a meal I ordered.
Last night's visit was very positive. I very much enjoyed the meal I ordered. Very delicious.
Parking is a pain. While there is allot of parking, they have disabled parking (not very many), too, the entire lot is behind the building and you have to walk half way around.
For those with ambulatory issues, best to drop them off alongside the restaurant.
While parking isn't the most ideal, their food is worth it.“

“Been here twice now and it is amazing! Had the pizza last time I was here. Tonight I had the Italian Meatball Sandwich. It was huge and very filling! Not dry like most places. Had semi spicy meatballs, provelone and marinara sauce on a toasted roll. Yum!! Will be back for sure!“

“Food is lovely, good wine selection, prices not outrageous and service was good enough. My only complaint, and it's a serious one, is that the airconditioning blowers in our seating area were very strong and aimed directly at my plate. I'm not exaggerating when I say my food was cold in less than 30 seconds. Staff said they get that complaint frequently for that seating area but they are unable to turn them off or down. I asked for a manager, but he was unavailable for the evening.“

“The restaurant's neighborhood atmosphere is reminiscent of a classic sitcom setting. The kitchen staff, primarily young employees, demonstrates strong teamwork and communication. Our order was accurately fulfilled; however, condiments should be proactively offered, and perhaps bread could be sliced thinner. I do feel it's a bit pricey for what the menu offers. The salad was completely bruised, there was barely any dressing on it, but it was a fifteen-dollar salad without any meat or cheese. They should probably put some time into developing an actual appetizer menu because the $15 salad was not justified. Beverage refills would also enhance the dining experience, so a few misses on standard serving practices. The food was alright, particularly the tiramisu was the best part of the dinner, it was among the best I've encountered in the PNW. We plan to return.“

“Very Italian in the atmosphere. This may be the best thing about the place. The food was very reminiscent of what I had living in Napoles. Not outstanding but quite good.“
