“I have love DD for all of my 49 years! When I was 8 and started walking there myself I would ask for mustard to go with my fries. At first I was denied and told people dont eat mustard and fries and that I just wanted to step on them to make a mess. It wasn't true and eventually they came round and would have the mustard at the ready when I came to the windows. Even 30 years later we laughed about it as they would hand over the Lil yellow packets. I loved to stand at the second window and watch the food being made.
I was home for a visit last week and the same food was just as wonderful as I watched them make it in the windows.“

“So I like to ride my motorcycle out to Twin Perks Kalama and this Saturday I brought a friend. his motorcycle battery caught fire in the drive thru of the espresso stand! Hailey was working and she catered to us so well. I'm not advertising you should break down at the espresso stand but if you have to, pray Hailey is working. She was extraordinarily accommodating to us. She was helpful, sympathetic, and charming. I wish I could adequately convey how grateful I am to have met Hailey. I will happily give this girl a 5 star review and I will be a repeat customer!“

“Very nice walk south along the waterfront from the main lodge, past the amphitheater, sports courts and the new public market. They had pizza and sandwiches to eat. We enjoyed the roaring fire to warm up on a rainy day and the sandy riverside was available to do some fishing from shore.“

I had a salad when we were there, but the pizza did look and smell delicious. Recommended
