“I liked the Eagles. But there burgers were darn near the size of white castle hamburger. My husband picked a burger and fries for me. I couldn't believe. Most of the food came from Wayne's. There hamburger is good but I expect restaurant quality food when paying a primo price. For the portion size it was super primo price! New owners this week, so hopefully they change this. I don't know how many times I say it " A good burger starts with bun." I hope they trash the 99cent generic buns that they have been buying. Will see what happens.“
“Hadn't been there in at least 10 years and it looks like it's been spruced up since then! Fish was deep, deep fried...a bit too done for my liking. Fries were great! Soup was a hit and the salads looked amazing! Will definitely try one the next time I go!“
“So I heard this place was a great place to visit and so we were determined to give it a shot. My girlfriend and I got on the motorcycle and rode up to Balsam Lake which was about an hour and some change away from our home. When we arrived we were greeted by a taller lady whose name I forgot. Anyway, we ordered chips and dip, it was good and then the cook brought out some picked dip for us to try and it was delicious. Tiffany came over to help us, she was very kind, and helpful and seemed to get along well with the locals. The locals seemed okay I didn't have any issues, good food, wonderful service, motorcycle parking, and just a great vibe, thanks Tiffany!!“

“Food is good. Servers and service is great til they get slammed on live music nights, then service drops way down. Come early, get your order in, and your drinks drank!I haven't sat inside. The outdoor portion of the establishment is great.“

“We had take out pizza.It was okay. I didn't like the crust or the sauce. But the toppings were fresh.And when I went in to pick it up the atmosphere looked welcoming and the other food items looked great. Next time I'm sitting in and trying a wrap.“

“My food experiences have not been great. I like a pink burger but it was raw, chicken strips were pink inside, the Ruben was the worst. Three pieces of cornbeef the size of my thumbnail. We did get that meal taken off the bill. We really like the place but really needs to focus on hiring a experienced cook. Nice bartender and waitress. We will for sure be back. We like the place.“
“Was a really fun New Years eve that I attended 5 J's. If you're looking for a low key and cheap bar to have some drinks this place is it. Only problem was no mask enforcement or social distancing but I dunno how you're supposed to enforce that in a crowded bar.“
“This bar was awesome. Small town atmosphere, great food, affordable!!! We hung out and played pool upstairs after we were done. Our bartender/waitress was awesome and checked on us repeatedly. Get the sweet potato fries with the cinnamon dip!!!! Highly recommend this place.“
