“I work 2nd shift in town. I never get my lunch at the same time. I almost every time walk in to this Subway about 10 or less minutes before close. The night employees are always absolutely welcoming and kind with a huge smile an they enjoy chatting. Not what you would get at most food establishments at almost close time. Thank you to the kind people that always welcome me with a smile even when they close in 5 minutes. ?“

“What a turnaround for this business. Subway is one of my favorite chain restaurants and I especially loved this one when it was the two older ladies mainly behind the counter. After a change of management, they started hiring high schoolers that did not care about quality as much and it led to a downward turn. Eventually I couldn't stand the quality of service and ingredients so I stopped going. I was really sad for a few months while it closed down, especially since I work so close by, but now that they have reopened I decided to give them another shot. WOW. What an improvement. Corporate subway, pay attention because this is how you run one of those places. I only ever see two employees in there, which is actually a good thing especially in a small town. After only going in twice the guys recognize me and know me by name, and even know my usual order. I also prefer the idea of two main people because rather than this being just a simple part time gig for high schoolers who dont care, its become a 9-5 that supports two people (hopefully with good benefits). Although this may be more expensive for them in the end, I believe it will have a great payoff and produces employees who care more for both the business and customers in the long run, overall increasing the number of repeat customers. I've also noticed these two actually care about ingredient quality. Lettuce is always crisp, tomatoes don't ever look dilapidated like they used to before the shut down, its just a complete different atmosphere than a few months ago. Every time I have been in the store it has been clean as a whistle with even the drink fountain area spick and span. I noticed in previous reviews people mentioned a lack of professionalism with the previous high school kids, and I can assure you I have never experienced that in any way from the two guys I always see behind the counter now. I truly wish I knew their names so they could be recognized. To anyone who was turned off earlier this year by this subway, I highly urge you to reconsider them as a lunch spot in this small town, I feel these two have earned it for their hard work and dedication.“
