Emperor's Kitchen Reviews
Probably my favorite Chinese place in Waukesha County. My favorite shrimp fried rice since I've moved from the gulf coast to Wisconsin.
Have eaten numerous times at Emperor’s Kitchen in past 5years. We always enjoyed our food. However our visit on August 30,2025 was definitely a disappointment. Egg rolls were good as usual. But vegetable fried rice and beef lo-mein were very very greasy. Lo-mein had way too much garlic . We took leftovers home but both threw ours away. Is there a new cook in the kitchen?
I have been a faithful customer for over 25 years, my only criticism is they should go back to Japanese mushrooms in their dishes like the emperor’s house special, I always looked forward to that variety now just moonlight mushrooms, please go back to the other shrooms

Emperor's Kitchen is a beloved restaurant in Brookfield, Wisconsin, that has been a staple in the community for over three decades. This family-friendly eatery serves fantastic food that is always ready on time, whether ordering takeout or dining in. The menu includes a pleasing selection of items, such as popular dishes like Sesame Chicken, Beef Chop Suey, Kung Pao Chicken, Broccoli and Chicken, and Shrimp Chop Suey Sub Gum. Portions are generous, and the prices are affordable. The staff is friendly and welcoming, creating a great spot for celebrations, dates, and family gatherings. While the decor may not be fancy, the clean and spacious dining area provides a comfortable atmosphere.
Recent reviews highlight the welcoming nature of the staff, with many noting how everyone is smiling and eager to help. The food continues to impress, with customers enjoying dishes like sesame chicken, curry beef, and chicken fried rice. Although some have experienced inconsistent quality, particularly with items like pork fried rice and the House special, many agree that the overall experience and taste of the food are worth it. Customers appreciate the large quantities and fair prices, often mentioning that favorites taste the same every visit. While service may be slower on busy nights due to a high volume of takeout orders, guests are encouraged to be patient and enjoy their meals. Emperor's Kitchen is highly recommended for its delicious food and warm service, making it a cherished spot for both new and returning customers.
