“We stopped by Sunday afternoon to have lunch after dress shopping. It was myself, my 5 yr old, my mom, my Mother-in-law, 2 sisters, and my cousin. The service was friendly and fast and the food was absolutely delicious. I was pleasantly surprised in the variety of food offered and how it was different than most “bar and grill” food. I would definitely eat here again!👏🏻👍🏻it’s like a fancy Unos/Applebees inside a dive bar vibe😃“

“Stopped in for lunch and was glad I did. Friendly service from the jump—felt like a place where everyone knows each other, but newcomers are still welcome. Locals at the bar, couple of regulars playing games in the corner, and the staff chatting like it’s just another day in paradise.
It’s not quite a dive bar, but has that same laid-back, no-BS charm. Heard good things about the steak sandwich—can confirm it lives up to the hype. Solid lunch spot with a comfortable vibe, decent menu, and just enough grit to keep it real.“
“I had the privilege of meeting Craig last week when we stopped in for the first time. We were welcomed with detailed information of the passion him and his partners have for creating a friendly inviting atmosphere, as well as their dedication to keeping the establishment clean, welcoming, and maintained. They are striving to continue to update and repair the property as needed, while preserving the history of the building. We were invited for a behind the scenes VIP look at the private party bar downstairs, which is breathtaking! The honesty, transparency and pride Craig expressed for this establishment directly represents how amazing it is to patronize. We returned later for a live music set with friends and I couldn't have been more pleased with the atmosphere, the service and the pricing! Do not miss stopping in and seeing for yourself how awesome this place is! keep it up! we will be in soon to try the food as well! A+++++“

“We stopped in last night for the first time, after driving by your place 6-10 Xs a week for the last several years. Not sure why it took us so long, probably because we already had several "favorite" fish fries. But yours just jumped to the top of the list. And yes, if you can't decide, go for the combo . . . that's what I did and it exceeded my expectations. We will be back!“

“Moved to the area not long ago and was looking for a nice place to go for a drink. This surpassed my expectations. Great looking sports bar and all of the bartenders are very friendly. I've only gotten apps so far and they've all been very good. It also has the coldest draft beer I've found.“

“I had my brother-in-law's Celebration of Life party at the Thirsty Duck in Sussex for about 55 people. Jessica Neuhaus, the event sales manager, was great to work with and with her help we pulled off a great party. We were able to have a private part with plenty of room for everyone. Even the kids had a great time with the duck pin bowling and corn hole. We had the Southern Style BBQ dinner with pulled pork, smoked brisket and chicken. And, the food was Amazing! I had nothing but compliments from our guest and really it was all the Thirsty Duck. I highly recommend this venue for your next party. Lisa D.“

“Best burger and potato salad ever for super reasonable prices!! Bacon on the Burger was awesome. Good service despite not many people working. So sad no one wants to work in the hospitality industry anymore. Thankful for those who do!! Highly recommend! Burgers are always amazing!!“

“Had a lovely luncheon with some wonderful ladies. We sat in the enclosed heated porch area. Very comfortable. Food was wonderful. Love the French fries not bland..good flavor & hot. I love hot food...temperature! Hope to visit again. Reasonable prices!“

“decent food. Friendly wait staff. Maybe 3.5 out of 5 stars for me. Only thing that I thought was odd is that you have to wait until your whole party has arrived before they will seat you. It's not a Bartolotta's restaurant, it's a bar. Only 4 of us looking for a regular 4 top table. They wouldn't seat us until the remaining 2 showed up. There were 11 open tables. The place was not packed. I thought that was strange.“
