They have items that I've never seen before, so I had to try a bunch. For dinner, I ate the quesa birria tacos which were so juicy and just as good as the so called best birria tacos in NYC. Birria tacos are the hot new trend, and they are delicious. For drinks, I tried the hibiscus aqua fresca and tamarind aqua loca. I love hibiscus drinks, so of course, I'd love it, but the aqua loca was even more interesting. Omar made it for me, and it's his own recipe he came up with. He even makes a version with monster energy drinks that is really unique. For dessert, I tried the egg nog and churrochito ice creams. Both were excellent and so rich and milky. There's so much more items I could try, but I'm stuffed and just passing through. Sun Prairie is lucky to have such a great Mexican restaurant.“

“Taco Madre is hands down one of the best Mexican restaurants we’ve eaten at in the Madison area. The salsas were very good, the drinks were good, and our food was great! We had a torta with carne asada and the enchiladas rancheras. Super great! Will definitely go back again! Oh! Also our waitress was super nice and the environment was very welcoming!“

“Great food. Quick and consistent. Very friendly staff. Only gripe is inside pick up is a little awkward. They face all the bags with the receipts facing away from the customer. If they are busy at the register you have to turn around all of the bags to find which one has the receipt with your name on it. Suggestion would be to turn towards customer and highlight name on receipt. Other than that this place is really nice.“
