Their soda machine was out of service, so I had to go somewhere else for a drink since I was eating on the road.The other issue was the bathroom. It appeared clean, but it smelled like a barnyard. Not like someone had just used the bathroom, but like there was an issue they needed to have fixed. It was really foul.“

“For a loyal customer patronizing Glass Nickel for decades, I shouldn't be in a position to need to write this. With all the problems, - and it seems that nearly each order has come with one or more - I still came back for the great taste of Glass Nickel pizza. However, the most recent issue made me finally decide to take my business elsewhere. My pizza had (over three inches) of no toppings toward the edge. Unacceptable. It appears that the mushrooms are not chopped into bits anymore like in past orders, and that I appreciate, but it looks like the big barren spaces, sans toppings, made up for that. I asked for a refund, but was given a half credit. In addition, I had to dish out more for the tip and delivery charge. I'm finally done with them.“

“This is one of my favorite pizza places in Madison! The location is fantastic, as it’s inside Garver Feed Mill, with plenty of indoor seating and outdoor seating available when the weather is nice.

Parking can be a little crowded, especially during peak hours, but we’ve been able to find a spot during each of our visits so far.

We have a toddler, so we’re always looking for places where we can grab a meal, eat comfortably, and leave whenever we need to. This place is perfect for that.

The Smokey the Bandit is my favorite pizza, but other options, including the Mac & Cheese and Buffalo Chicken pizzas, are also delicious. When you place your order at the counter, they send you a text message when your food is ready, so you can find a seat and relax while you wait.

Individual slices are usually available right away, while a whole pizza takes a little longer to prepare, but the wait is generally very reasonable.

I highly recommend this place for families with toddlers. There’s plenty of space to move around with a stroller, and the overall atmosphere is welcoming, relaxed, and family-friendly.“

The food quality is consistently poor, and any time you try to offer constructive feedback, the owner, Adam, becomes defensive and dismissive. Instead of addressing concerns, he’ll tell you that you “don’t know what you’re talking about” and promise to refund your order — a promise he never follows through on. This is by far the worst Glass Nickel Pizza location I’ve experienced. With so many better pizza options in Sun Prairie, I regret giving them multiple chances. Do yourself a favor: reheat a frozen pizza. It’ll taste better, and you won’t have to deal with Adam’s attitude.“
