Floats were heavy with frozen custard, and root beer was as perfect as my memory of it from the ‘50s. Chili dogs hot and the same as I remembered. Such a treat! My son placed the order and said the counter help was friendly and efficient. Order came out in record time, and we were on our way to the airport in Chicago.
Fantastic service, fast and hot food and take home gallons of rootbeer 😋
The experience was nice however it was a little cold in there it's cool having jukebox that you could pick some songs with maybe some better songs would help but overall a good experience

A&W Restaurant offers a vintage feel that is very clean and super cute. The service is great, with smiling staff working well together even at busy times. Customers praise the food: burgers are better than any other burger, coney dogs are to die for, and floats are heavy with frozen custard. Root beer is perfect as remembered from the ‘50s, and chili dogs are hot and the same as remembered. Chicken tenders are juicy and hot, the best ever, while fries are mediocre. The counter help is friendly and efficient, and food comes out piping hot. The place is cold inside but has a jukebox. Draft A&W is adored, with great food, great RB, and friendly staff. Customers wish there were glass jugs for taking home a gallon.
