“I recommend a visit to the Barn. I opened a new shop April 3rd of 2024 a month before the makers mart event in May of this year. What a wonderful opportunity for my new business to get introduced. It’s been a wonderful experience so far and my neighbors have been very welcoming. My new business is called MoeChic the barn shops which is located in the barn on the grounds of Stone wood Village. I’m so excited to be here and I’m loving it. Come visit the shop and meet myself and my greeter, Buddy who is my lovable Burnedoodle. The shop includes a gallery area with unique handmade items created by local artists. Another area is set up as a boutique with women’s clothing, handmade from a several countries purchase through fair trade, a shoe line and many accessories and jewelry. All handmade, artistic and cultural in fashion. And of course the upper level is layed out with vintage, re-purpose an upcycled items mixed with vintage and current artwork. “My favorite steak in town…. “Steak au Poivre” can be found at this great French restaurant (French not not haughty) in Wauwatosa. Favorite steak as it tastes great, and presented well. Sliced on an angle and sauced with a red wine black peppercorn reduction, it has just enough char on the outside to balance the medium rare I love inside. Along with taste, I love that it comes with my fav vegetables-haricot vertes and absolutely perfect French fries! So unlike popular steak restaurants, at LaReve you get more than just meat for the list price! Yum + Yay! The desserts? They are as gorgeous as they are delicious! The case is filled with sweet perfection, each one more beautiful than the next! Just so hard to pick which on.! And the macrons are iconic-crisp outside and soft chewy inside, take a few home with you! But what a treat to find a Kir Royale on the menu last night at dinner before a show! I’m sure it’s a direct effect of Emily in Paris Season 3, but maybe I just never noticed it on the menu before! I served these for Christmas ten years ago and when I saw Emily working on an ad campaign, I just knew they’d start to show up on menus soon. Lucky me! Bon Appetite! This place is great for a girls lunch or business lunch, A friends dinner or date night!“

“First time here at the new location. I have been to Caribou Coffees before, but mainly in Minneapolis. I liked the inside lay out. Different areas for seating, and a well defined area for ordering. The staff were welcoming and helpful. I was interested in a special London Fog Latte. They did their best, but don't have Lavender Syrup. The drink could have used more foam (which I asked for), and was just "okay".

We sat outside on the patio. Unfortunately, it's pretty close to Capitol Drive which was busy and noisy.

There are plenty of other coffee shop choices that are better than this one.“

“5 ⭐️ Can’t believe we finally got around to trying Miss Molly’s this past Sunday. It’s only a ten minute walk from our house. To say the least, we were very pleased! Tried a number of different breakfast items (including French toast, yogurt/fruit, breakfast sandwiches and muffins). Each one was delicious. Service was friendly and quick for how busy they were. All in all a great experience.“

“First time at Anadyne. This is what a expect from a good coffee shop. Personal and friendly baristas, a good selection of coffees, lattes and teas, a reasonable offering of various fresh baked items and pastries, and a subdued atmosphere where you can have a quiet conversation.

This location is medium size shop, with a long bar like counter for ordering. It has some natural light from large windows in the front, and some more windows in the rear. You can find seating both inside at small tables, or outside on cafe size tables. (the back is secluded which would be nice on a warmer day).

On this visit, I ordered a London Fog Latte, and tried one of their fresh Cinnamon Knots with Icing. They did a great job with the London Fog (little vanilla, little lavender, extra foam). First time trying the Cinnamon Knot, which they warmed up. I really enjoyed all of the dough layers, with generous amounts of cinnamon. (The icing itself was more of a distraction, it was hard and simply flaked off).

From the looks/sounds of things, there are many regulars that stop in for quick up or mug refill. Lots of friendly chatter happening throughout. It appears to be a local favorite.

“From beginning to end we had a delightful dinner. The service was excellent. Our water was filled often. I had the ribs which were done perfectly and meaty!\nThey came with corn bread(I usually don't like but this was delicious and warm.) Cole slaw and Mac and cheese, which were very good also. My husband had the Thursday night pork dinner special. That came with a large side salad, mashed potatoes, corn on the cob and wonderful crusty bread. We both enjoyed ourselves very much! Well done - Fork in the Road!“

“I now come here almost daily. They have the best espresso in Milwaukee and I drink their Americano black. I changed it up today and got a pumpkin spice latte, and it came out SO PRETTY!

Lake Effect is separate from the church but they do partner with others in the community including a Macha pop up, and they even allowed me to do a little pop up to celebrate AAC awareness month!

I can't forget to mention their awesome bakery, with some muffins and cookies baked in house and their tasty treats from City Market and Carries Crispies!“

“This restaurant exists to sell lunches to staff at the nearby hospital complex. They offer a wide variety of sandwiches, bowls, baked goods and hot meals for both vegan and omnivores. They have an entire vegan menu, and vegan desserts in their baked goods area are clearly marked. A great lunch option for vegans!“

“My granddaughter and I love Panera so I went on Tuesday for dinner take out. The soup was wonderful as always and the cinnamon bagels delicious. The problem was with the total I was charged. I filled out the Panera review I received by email as well as contacted the store directly. Not only was everyone absolutely wonderful from Jeremy to the store manager, Alisha. I was treated with total respect and courtesy and they resolved the issue more than I expected. They are so amazing. I recommend Panera wholeheartedly!! Thank you!!“

“The cashier and staff were nice and made sure to get my order correct. She repeated everything back to me. She seemed to be new and had some questions about things but was sincere. The food came out quick and was of decent quality. The cookies didnt taste very good. Had an unfortunate experience when I ordered cookies as well. The manager will only sell day old cookies first before offering dine in customers fresh cookies from the oven. She said she needs to sell the old ones first and the hot ones will fall apart in your hand. I understand how this could be true. As a dine in customer if cookies have been sitting out for 20 minutes and cooled sufficiently though, I think it would be reasonable to offer fresher cookies. Also it is a frequent practice for bakeries to throw out day old bakery items. So I dont understand why the opposite is the standard at this Panera bread.“
