It's a unique take on something I've seen in every form, but they get it right with little surprises in every bite. Do yourself a favor and get the orange juice. The fresh sweetness really helps stabilize the slight spice and heaviness of the food.“

“One of my favorite foods is pastys, I was excited to learn about this place, otherwise you would find them normal in the u.p area of Wisconsin. All of the varieties are great! Had the chicken tikka masala one today, was awesome! I do like they wrap it in foil, because my 40min drive home it's still warm!“

“Zuzus has incredible food as far as I can tell. The food here is surprisingly delicious, and has like complex flavors and creative recipes with fresh ingredients. It's not expensive, the portion sizes aren't insane, and it's usually light, tastes good, fresh, and right next to the zoo. I would say this is one of my most favorite restaurants that I've visited so far in Madison, as someone who doesn't go to sit-down restaurants a lot. The cooks here are really good, and I think that has to do with the size of the menu. The quality you get here is like, more value for your buck than most of the casual food places I've been in this city. I recommend this place. The atmosphere outside is okay, considering its right next to an intersection, it can be variable. It looks alright inside. The service is alright.“

“Wow. My husband and I have been coming here for quite a few months now, and everything about this place is incredible. All of the employees are so knowledgeable about dosage, and will give you honest, helpful advice if you’re unsure. The location is always spotless, and the game options are so much fun. I hate mentioning Bingo here as I want to gatekeep it, but Bingo on Wednesdays is INCREDIBLE. All of the employees here are passionate and excited to be there. After a few visits, they start feeling more like friends, and soon, family. They all seem to truly love their job, and it makes us LOVE coming here. We will never try another edible dispensary, as their energy and vibe make it unforgettable. This place has made a lasting impact on me and my husband, and I promise you won’t regret it!!“

“We are spoiled for good choices for coffee shops on the east side of Madison now, and Ancora adds another excellent option. We have been several times since they opened, both eating in and the drive through. Workers have always been friendly and efficient, the coffee and food options are several cuts above the big chain coffee shops (they have one of the better breakfast burritos around), and the seating is well lit by giant windows and always clean. The drive through only has room for a few cars, so it fills up easily, but they do a good job of moving customers through it. The pricing is a little more expensive than at national chains, but you are getting what you pay for and more in terms of quality.“

“Yes on a normal day, but don’t go on a holiday day. My daughter ordered and it took over 30 mins plus to get her drink and she was told it would only be 15 minutes. Called and talked to the manger who just apologize that is all.“

“I am here from out of town. I had a break between engagements and the weather required I go get a chai and just be still for a bit. The staff were so pleasant. My chai was perfect. I hung out in a comfy chair for a little over an hour and had to go back for another drink. I most definitely recommend. reasonable prices, great staff, and a lovely environment for studying, people watching out the window, or a grab and go.“

Coffee and matcha options are fairly decent. They also have a decent tea selection. Pleasant and clean. They have outdoor seating areas, which will be fantastic for the warmer months. Parking in this area is not easy, you might find street parking. They do have roasted beans and other merch to purchase. Take a break - make it a fika time - enjoy the coffee and connecting with friends!“

“Jane's is a funky little cafe & bakery. Surrounded by art from local artists. Open only till 3 in the after noon it's mostly breakfast and lunch. Counter served multi-cuisine fare that's fresh and family friendly. Their signature scones and pasteries are to die for with flavors you won't see anywhere else. Also great for Vegans and Vegetarians.“
