“My boyfriend and I woke up to a hotel room with no water, after a very long day of travel. We needed good, hot, local food… Maxfield’s was just the ticket! Andrea was a kind and friendly hostess who was happy to chat with us. Service was quick, restaurant is very cute. Omelette was HUGE, my boyfriend loved his pancakes, and the Latkes were some of the best I have ever had!!!

If we were locals we would be here every weekend. Cannot speak highly enough of this cute little stop!! All you could want in a Midwestern breakfast joint. Thank you for serving us!”

“OmG!! I just stumbled on a monumental reason to move from western MN to the state of WI. Specifically Fox Point. Service was amazing. Thank you Cole and unnamed seniorita. Value for our dollar was spot on. Asked BF what he wanted to say about the food and he said mmmmmmm. Mmmm. Mmmm. No time to give review must keep stuffing face. Meanwhile I ordered table side guacamole and a plain cheese quesadilla and let me tell you.... my tastebuds have not been this happy in a while. Quac was perfect. Fresh, Flavorful, and Filling. The quesadilla was grilled to a perfect crispness with matching perfect melty cheese. Sorry no photos taken the food is in my tummy. Only thing I have to complain about is location. Please open near Hutchinson, MN.”

“I had heard great things and had never been. Was heading to see a show at the Marcus Center last night and we opted for dinner here. Being a foodie, I had asked for recommendations in some of my foodie groups. I heard the meatball appetizer was a must have. It wasn’t on the menu for some reason, and I’m glad I asked as Frank, our awesome bartender/server who is in the family didn’t realize it wasn’t. I have zero idea how you get meatballs light, fluffy, not dense, but these were them. And the sauce! Beyond fresh, light, and delicious. Eggplant Parmesan fries were also super light and served with the same delicious sauce. And then the pasta… Capellini alla Caprese (which was Frank’s recommendation). From their menu: “Handmade angel hair pasta tossed with sweet Roma tomatoes, genuine Prosciutto di Parma ham and an Italian soffritto (olive oil, onion and garlic), finished in a light chardonnay-cream sauce and Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese.” This was also super clean, light, and just delectable. The bruschetta appetizer we did not order, but the people next to us did, and I asked to take a pic. It looked amazing, and the girls eating it absolutely raved. The tiramisu - not much to say other than chefs kiss! I literally want to go back and try everything on their menu. This was for sure one of my favorite new (to me) places and I will be back for sure! Also a shoutout to the other bartender Shea… she was an absolute gem. All of the staff we met were super friendly and helpful. Love places like this!”

“Have ordered their pizza- sandwiches and wings- always done to perfection. Pizza is a wonderful thin crust, baked thoroughly- never soggy- toppings are plentiful and fresh! Their Italian beef is one a person can enjoy time and again. If you love meatball sandwiches? Nice LARGE meatballs- sauce is great and the side of fries? More than enough to satisfy anyone.”

“I just popped through the drive thru to get a burger and soda. I could hear a conversation the male worker was having with someone else, and he kept asking me to repeat myself. He was obviously not paying attention. Pulled up to pay, and he was on his phone. Pulled forward for my food, and that worker was also on his phone. The burger I got was luke warm at best, but I was already too far to turn around.”

“Absolutely love this place! Roast Coffee Company has the kind of cozy, welcoming vibe that makes you want to stay all morning. The coffee is rich, smooth, and clearly made with care — I had the vanilla latte and it was perfection. Staff were friendly without being overbearing, and the space is perfect for catching up with a friend or getting some work done. Definitely one of my new go-to spots in town. Highly recommend!”

Megawich is a light hearted & fun concept with silly names, but their sandwiches are no joke!! The balanced flavor & textures absolutely astonished my taste buds! Bold spices & seasoning... perfectly executed meat/cheese/sauce ratio, all on a local Sciortino's fresh baked Italian bread! ... I ordered the Chicken Catcher w Medium Hot spice 🔥 & seasoned fries WOW!... Surprised, would be an understatement. It's a humble, simple, "no frills" sub-sandwich place, but w high quality ingredients & baffling bold flavors. I'm hooked! This is easily my new favorite casual go to!! “This was an extremely fun stop to our night, there was only two workers, but they were making the best of the situation and were extremely friendly. It did take a little bit for them to come over, but it wasn’t a problem at all she apologized as well. The worker was extremely nice and helpful through the whole night. She checked on us multiple times and was very wonderful. It was such a blast to come hang out here and learn new fun things to do. Highly recommend making a stop. We stopped in on a Saturday night and it was pretty empty. Definitely a fun place to stop and hang out. They have ax throwing as well.”

“Such a cute spot with very friendly staff and AMAZING food! I love that it’s family owned them having the Safina family as the executive chef was a very cute touch lol. Family photos on the wall when you walk in is also such a cute detail.

We got the bruschetta (with Brussels sprouts which was a fun seasonal spin), pistachio pasta which was so unexpected and delicious, and the shrimp diavolo pasta which is a classic but was done very well and used the top tier bucatini.

As an Italian who lives in Chicago I know good Italian food and this is truly amazing. Definitely worth a visit, we’ll definitely be coming back next time we’re in town!”

“What a great find. Nice place, great energy. The service from hostess, bartender, waiter, and food runner was prompt, polite, and sincere. Food was excellent. The queso was flavorful, melty, and delicious paired with the lovely bread, and assortment of fruits. The empanadas were the obvious stars of the show - soft billowy outer shells that had a nice bite, filled with delicious stuffings. Dessert was great as well, opting for that sinful cookie bar with ice cream.”
