“I had heard great things and had never been. Was heading to see a show at the Marcus Center last night and we opted for dinner here. Being a foodie, I had asked for recommendations in some of my foodie groups. I heard the meatball appetizer was a must have. It wasn’t on the menu for some reason, and I’m glad I asked as Frank, our awesome bartender/server who is in the family didn’t realize it wasn’t. I have zero idea how you get meatballs light, fluffy, not dense, but these were them. And the sauce! Beyond fresh, light, and delicious. Eggplant Parmesan fries were also super light and served with the same delicious sauce. And then the pasta… Capellini alla Caprese (which was Frank’s recommendation). From their menu: “Handmade angel hair pasta tossed with sweet Roma tomatoes, genuine Prosciutto di Parma ham and an Italian soffritto (olive oil, onion and garlic), finished in a light chardonnay-cream sauce and Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese.” This was also super clean, light, and just delectable. The bruschetta appetizer we did not order, but the people next to us did, and I asked to take a pic. It looked amazing, and the girls eating it absolutely raved. The tiramisu - not much to say other than chefs kiss! I literally want to go back and try everything on their menu. This was for sure one of my favorite new (to me) places and I will be back for sure! Also a shoutout to the other bartender Shea… she was an absolute gem. All of the staff we met were super friendly and helpful. Love places like this!”

“We had a large group greater than 15. Our waitress was very efficient at taking our orders and serving the food. The food as always was great. I ordered the # 1 special with 2 eggs, 2 pancakes and bacon. A few ordered lunch as it was about 11:00 am on a Sunday morning.”

“OmG!! I just stumbled on a monumental reason to move from western MN to the state of WI. Specifically Fox Point. Service was amazing. Thank you Cole and unnamed seniorita. Value for our dollar was spot on. Asked BF what he wanted to say about the food and he said mmmmmmm. Mmmm. Mmmm. No time to give review must keep stuffing face. Meanwhile I ordered table side guacamole and a plain cheese quesadilla and let me tell you.... my tastebuds have not been this happy in a while. Quac was perfect. Fresh, Flavorful, and Filling. The quesadilla was grilled to a perfect crispness with matching perfect melty cheese. Sorry no photos taken the food is in my tummy. Only thing I have to complain about is location. Please open near Hutchinson, MN.”

“I’ve been coming here for years.Grew up in the North Shore now live near UWM area. I’m NOT a fake reviewer - zero relationship with the restaurant in any capacity. We order food Peking Chef or we dine in for my birthday every year. I order takeout when I’m eating alone or working odd hours. My dish is Kweetiau Goreng, I believe D7. My dad used to get it, I tasted it once years ago and now it’s my dish along with cream cheese wantons. I will say the crab cheese wantons have slightly changed. They used to have more garlic in them but now slightly less. I like them still the same.”

“Have ordered their pizza- sandwiches and wings- always done to perfection. Pizza is a wonderful thin crust, baked thoroughly- never soggy- toppings are plentiful and fresh! Their Italian beef is one a person can enjoy time and again. If you love meatball sandwiches? Nice LARGE meatballs- sauce is great and the side of fries? More than enough to satisfy anyone.”

“I just popped through the drive thru to get a burger and soda. I could hear a conversation the male worker was having with someone else, and he kept asking me to repeat myself. He was obviously not paying attention. Pulled up to pay, and he was on his phone. Pulled forward for my food, and that worker was also on his phone. The burger I got was luke warm at best, but I was already too far to turn around.”

“Dane did a nice job teaching us how to throw an axe. It’s harder than it looks! Everything was ready for our group when we got there. The bday balloons were an added expense but fun to throw an axe to see who could break them on the board. My only suggestion would be to get more T-shirt sizes. The bday boy couldn’t get his first or second choice Tshirt because they didn’t have any larges.”

“My husband and I rarely get a night out just for us. This couldn’t have been more fun. First time here and first time doing Korean BBQ. I would 10/10 recommend for date night to anyone. Bulgogi and marinated pork belly were my favorites.”

Sampling a few amazing menu items and cocktails prior to walk about. Megawich is a light hearted & fun concept with silly names, but their sandwiches are no joke!! The balanced flavor & textures absolutely astonished my taste buds! Bold spices & seasoning... perfectly executed meat/cheese/sauce ratio, all on a local Sciortino's fresh baked Italian bread! ... I ordered the Chicken Catcher w Medium Hot spice 🔥 & seasoned fries WOW!... Surprised, would be an understatement. It's a humble, simple, "no frills" sub-sandwich place, but w high quality ingredients & baffling bold flavors. I'm hooked! This is easily my new favorite casual go to!! (+On DoorDash) ...And so I had to meet the owners! Wael & Adham are the nicest, most sincere & kind-hearted brilliant business men I've met in a very long time! “This review is LONG OVERDUE! As a SAHM, this place is my go to. I typically take my daughter once a week and we always have such a good time. I love seeing the same familiar faces each week, I love the fact that they know mine and my daughter's name, and Evan knows exactly how I like my iced latte! It just makes me feel so welcomed and apart of their inviting community! I've been to many other play cafes and this is BY FAR THE BEST! From the aesthetic vibe, to the food/drinks options, the hours (9-7 PM) compared to other places that close earlier in the day, and no blocked times for play so it caters to everyone's schedules. I also really ADMIRE AND APPRECIATE seeing so many different faces and backgrounds. It's just so welcoming to ALL and I will forever be apart of this village!”

“We had our company outing here and Rachel and Eli were absolutely fabulous hosts! It was a lot of our first times playing shuffleboard and the rules were explained super clearly and bar service was super speedy!”

“Such a cute spot with very friendly staff and AMAZING food! I love that it’s family owned them having the Safina family as the executive chef was a very cute touch lol. Family photos on the wall when you walk in is also such a cute detail.

We got the bruschetta (with Brussels sprouts which was a fun seasonal spin), pistachio pasta which was so unexpected and delicious, and the shrimp diavolo pasta which is a classic but was done very well and used the top tier bucatini.

As an Italian who lives in Chicago I know good Italian food and this is truly amazing. Definitely worth a visit, we’ll definitely be coming back next time we’re in town!”
