He was obviously not paying attention. Pulled up to pay, and he was on his phone. Pulled forward for my food, and that worker was also on his phone. “Stopped in Sunday morning to hang out and journal around 10 am and by the time I left at noon this place was thriving with groups and like minded solos working in a comfortable atmosphere. I ordered the hot latte with white chocolate and it was fantastic, served with nothing but smiles. I’m not someone who eats things that are on the sweet side but decided to indulge in the mini pancakes (crazy mix) and they were soooo good. I look forward to coming back. I also learned they are open late and as someone who doesn’t drink much I look forward to testing out the atmosphere in the evening sometime.“

Lake Effect is separate from the church but they do partner with others in the community including a Macha pop up, and they even allowed me to do a little pop up to celebrate AAC awareness month!

“okay i’ve gone to a couple different locations and i love love love their coffee and what they stand for as a business. this spot had a lot of nice seating and was super chill.

this time i decided to get a matcha latte with almond milk. at first glance the matcha isn’t super fresh and green, and it’s also not super mixed in - there were chunks of matcha in there. for the quality and price of $7 i would not say it’s worth it. overall i would say the matcha was just okay, but would go back for coffee anytime!“

“Visiting from England there was only one brewery tour that we were definitely doing and it was the PBR one! The tour is really interesting, our guide at 12 on Friday the 16th of May (sorry I forgot your name) was awesome, was a knowledgeable machine when it came to PBR. Wonderful stories and plenty of beer, Jim the owner was a great guy too, not as great as his wife who managed to get the football (soccer) on tv so I could watch Aston Villa ✅ Absolutely awesome place, plenty of cool merch in the shop too.“

From the moment we walked in, we were struck by the inviting atmosphere and aesthetic of the shop, with its thoughtful layout and local artwork that really enhanced the vibe. My wife and I shared the stuffed bread with chorizo, the Butternut Squash Sage & Bacon sandwich, and the sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich with a side of roasted potatoes. Every bite was delicious! “The food was yummy, the place is pretty, bathrooms are clean and the staff are nice, my only complaint is the price. I got a breakfast sausage burrito, and a 12oz mocha with oat milk, my total was about $21. Now I thought with that price the burrito would be very filling or at the very least large and the mocha have more umph to it. That was not the case, now I’m not saying it was super small, it doesn’t fit the price tag. This is a place to come to as soon as the paycheck hits and you’re feeling rich. It can be compared to those millennial burger places that look very nice and have decent food, but the prices are through the roof.
