“Where do I begin? Her Turtle Fudge, superb - super dark chocolate, so rich, so decadent! Cranberry Pistacio fudge - sublime, rich, and so creamy. Mini Peanut Butter Cheesecake - oh my God! I'm running out of superlatives here! Again, a dark chocolate base, then a thick layer of rich, creamy peanut butter cheesecake, so sinfully delicious. “We used the Greige Patisserie for our November 2023 wedding in Oconomowoc, WI. They did our personal cutting cake and dessert bar. We mainly communicated with Miranda, who was very responsive, professional and helpful. The dessert tasting appointment was really fun to try out some of the more popular treats. They delivered and set-up all the desserts on wedding day and it looked perfect. The cake was absolutely beautiful and exactly like the inspo pictures we shared. The dessert bar was a hit and we had multiple guests talking about how good all the treats were all weekend. We had s’mores shooters, strawberry shortcake shooters, lemon bars, salted caramel tarts, snickerdoodle cookies and macarons. We would definitely recommend the Greige Patisserie to future couples. “I grew up in this neighborhood, so while I might not be of Mexican descent, I grew up with access to pan dulce. Unlike some other panaderias in the area, this place was jammed full of variety right away when they were open. You could feel the warmth coming off some of the racks, things were that fresh. I don't know if it's a flavor that isn't as popular as it was thirty years ago when I was a teen, but they didn't have pumpkin/calabaza empanada, which is my favorite. I can only reliably get those at El Rey, but they don't open as early. I got a coconut empanada instead, which I hadn't tried before, and it's now my second favorite, still behind pumpkin. It's so good.

If you were looking for a place where you can get a big variety of pan dulce, right away in the morning, this is the place. I highly recommend it. The price was really good, too.“

“The customer care we received today was lousy. Going to charge us for the containers used for the bakery we are purchasing. Then we look at receipt while walking out and noticed they did not charge us for a cake $8.99. So we went back the cashier looks at receipt and admits she didn't charge us and would not proceed to give us a discount for honesty. Lost our business.“

The lady on the phone wasn’t very nice and told me I had to order online then put me on hold forever. So I hung up and called National Bakery. Boy am I glad I did. “i went here a long time ago about 2013. i was a regular because my grandma's house is nearby. she liked the pumpkin empenadas when they had any left. from the morning rush. i usually got the chocolate muffins with chips. they also had soft bread. as long as you ate it rightaway.

“Bread its good. But go early morning otherwise you wont have much options. Prices are high but no where near other bakeries. Mini conchas are 50 cents but 2yrs ago they were 3 for 1 dollar. Floors look dirty but bread is always fresh. They sell bolillos 3 for 1 dollar. They have milk gallons, single slices of cake, can sodas, hot coffee. You can order cakes. They take cash and card. But for card it has to be atleat $5. No restrooms. Parking for around 10cars. They dont accept EBT anymore . Prices are ok and u get ur own little platic bag and plastic glove and choose ur own piece of bread.“

We purchased donuts, asiago bread (YUM), cinnamon bread (THE BEST THING EVER!), hot dog buns, chocolate cream pie, chocolate muffins, banana muffins, blueberry muffins, cinnamon apple muffins, chocolate chip cookies and turnovers. Everything is delicious and so moist and fresh!! And OMG the prices are so low! Staff has always been more than accommodating whether they're at the counter or as Barista. Also, look forward to their Cinnamon Rolls available only on Sundays. Rose, the owner, and former baker, has hit a home run with this place. She's sweet as a peach and her shop is very warm and welcoming.
