“I like to go here for Fri night fish fry, after work.Lake Perch is really good and also the Cod. I have had Bluegill here also which is excellent but they tend to run out of that, so come earlier if you want the bluegill. Fishfry comes w/ fries & cole slaw, is reasonably priced, & you can have your choice of the items on the salad bar which usually includes bread/rolls, veggies- carrots, celery, radishes, pasta salad, potato salad, & jello (I like it with the pineapple chunks in it!) You can eat in the dining room or go sit at the attached bar THE MEET MARKET & watch the large screen tvs. It is a family friendly atmosphere & everyone is really nice.“

“Beautiful building, awesome fireplace. Food was excellent. Have ice cream drinks that are enough to feed 3 or 4 unless you order individual size. Food was excellent. Beet salad was amazing. I had the special which was a veal strip steak. It was more like a roast it was so thick. See pics of steak and dessert which had a chocolate hard exterior and had chocolate mousse and raspberries on the inside. Server was excellent. Hostess staff were friendly and GREAT!“

“This place is amazing! I had an unplanned surgery and when they lifted my diet restrictions, the first thing I saw was the ricotta pancakes with lemon and strawberries. That was the best choice I made. The pancakes were whole grain but they were light and fluffy. I think it was lemon curd spread on the top with sliced strawberries on top of that. The perfect mix of tangy and sweet. Next time I’m trying the egg sandwich and hopefully it won’t be because I’m in a hospital. I suggest everyone go there at least once.“

“First visit and this is a very nice place. Everything is fresh and clean. Plenty of tables. The service was good, preferred more trips with the coffee pot and asking for refills on drinks. The meal was prepared to order and arrived hot to the table. I would advise asking for crispy hash brown potatoes when getting your meal. Otherwise a very nice place for breakfast and lunch!“

“I first want to say that we had an exceptional server when my son and I dined at Texas Roadhouse this evening. (April 22, 2024} I can not say enough good things about her. She was on top of everything. I think she might have even been in charge of the bar area too. She did not seem to let any of those things phase her. She preformed her job professionally, but had a warm personality you could not help but like. I wanted to donate 10% of my dinner cost for Dine to Donate. She told me that she would take care of that for us. I was so impressed how she remembered to inform us of this when we were ready to pay the bill at the end of our dinner. She informed me that she left the other copy of the bill in the box where they placed the receipts. The 10% of the total food purchase would go the their "Our Harmony Club." This is a non-profit that provides social day programs for elderly members of our community. Was easy to google about it if you want more information about this. My son and I were more than happpy to tip well . This was a women that knew her job and strove to preform it effectively. My birthday was April 16th. I did not realize that there was a time limit on my birthday treat email from Texas Roadhouse, but the manager took this off the bill for me anyway. I had mentioned it when we begun to order. Of course our server remembered about this and had that all taken care of for me and also informed me of this before she took our order. The people up front were wonderful too. The one young man saw that I had a cane and quickly told me "let me open the door for you." I am disabled and you would not believe the number of times that people do not pay attention to that fact. I really wish that I could remember her name (I also have memory problems as a part of my disability) We were seated by the bar and we got there about 8pm. I am sure the manager will remember about this. Oh a shout out to the people preparing the food. Everything tasted fantastic!“

“My family and I went here today after my father's burial ceremony at the Southern Wisconsin Veteran's cemetery. We had a group of about 17 people. My mom had called ahead to make a reservation, and even though we were a little early, the staff was so kind to us, and very accommodating. Our food was great, the service was phenomenal for a group of our size, and my cappuccino was one of the most delicious I've ever had. I am so thankful to the staff for their patience and kindness. It made a big difference to my family and I on what was a difficult day for us. I definitely recommend them for breakfast/ brunch.“

Buca's has a very welcoming atmosphere where some other places I have gone, do not seem to be so much. With pool, darts, bowling and machines to play, you'll never be bored! “We were greeted by the friendliest waitress. We got 2 coffee, a hot cocoa and waters placed at our table almost instantly.I ordered the chicken fried steak with hash browns and rye toast. My partner got the Denver omelet with house fries.If I lived here, I'd be so fat because I would come here weekly for that chicken fried steak for sure. But 10 out 10 I'd get the house fries. “Yes... it's a pub but just not a pub. It supports bands that pass thru, but they now have added a kitchen that serves a bit of variety of dishes plus rib tips and brisket, which was very good but slightly tough for my liking.The other thing I like was no tiny containers for taking your spork for the one spoonful. “Fun AND delicious. Can't get much more old-timey than Kewpee. Take a seat at the counter or table, the server takes your order from a VERY short choice of items, and this delightful smash burger will be in front of you in minutes. Or less. Added a monster size (only one size) order of hot, salty, fresh crinkle cut fries to the burger, and their house-made root beer, creamy and "rooty." Lunch for two, less than $10. No kidding. “My husband and I went to Vero last night to celebrate our anniversary, and it's the first time we've gone back since they reopened. I love the changes they've made with a focus on small, shareable plates which is one of my favorite ways to dine. The food was outstanding, and the staff were all pleasant and efficient. “Cool bar and restaurant. Food was great. Excellent beer selection and one of the best bloody Marys I have had in a while. Lots of TV's good spot to grab some food, a few drinks and watch a game. They also had a good selection of pinball machines.“

“Apple Holler has a good family experience all around but also is a good place to stop in for lunch. When we stopped by for lunch we learned that breakfast foods can be ordered during the lunch hour so we were excited to try everything. At the restaurant you need to order at the counter but then they bring everything to you. I do recommend bringing cash for a tip as their ATM was out of service when we visited and unfortunately there is no tip line on the credit card slip when you order. You can’t get cash back either with a purchase so cash is really the only way. The store itself has some good stuff like apple cider donuts, apple butter, various preserves, etc to check out so I recommend stopping by to see what they have.“

“Meadow Brook was a host to the Racine Policeman's Ball and what a gorgeous place! There truly are not enough words for how gorgeous this place is. The golf course has phenomenal views. “1st time here to eat, usually here to drink…. The munchie basket, “combo basket” whatever it’s called was excellent, lots of food and great mix. We had Pizza for the main course . I was very impressed, great pizza, only problem I was so full after the basket I couldn’t eat as much as I wanted to! Excellent crust and fresh veggies, I was very surprised for a bar pizza! Will definitely go back! I’ve been trying to work out a wing night there with the guys, and I am looking forward to going back soon!“

The hostess brought coffee and water for everyone right away. Food took a little long to come out, but it was a lot of food and it was good. Great portions, cheap prices, and nice people.
