“Came for a fish fry and we weren't disappointed. I love the laid back atmosphere. Salad bar and clam chowder were awesome! We were basically full before our food came out but saved a little room for a few bites. I had the coconut shrimp which was delicious. My boyfriend had the perch. We heated up the left overs in the oven the next day and they were still great! We will be back!“

“This was our first visit to Winger's. We actually were in and out of there three times over the weekend. MASSIVE bar, really great design. We were there earlier in the day and then came back an hour or so prior to the annual Christmas parade. The place was a madhouse but the staff never stopped moving and worked their tailfeathers off! “Love the romantic atmosphere“

“1st time here, even though I had been in the area and passed by many times before. Turns out it was totally different from what I had imagined. It's larger than I expected, had more parking than I realized, was a good mix of friendly patrons, and our server was great and really attentive. Has a pool table with plenty of playing room, bar slots, dart boards, and yes, they will play dice. I believe shake of the day also. Decor had a very cool edge to it also in my opinion. I liked it and enjoyed my time while there. I did not sample the food though on this visit.

“First time here last night. We've been wanting to go for a while, finally got a date night.

We were impressed with everything! From the outside, you would think it's just another unassuming lake bar restaurant in Wisconsin. Inside, they nailed the Cajun and Creole vibe. It looks and sounds like you stepped into a New Orleans Jazz bar, but it's not tacky. The music matched the vibe. We sat outside the patio on a nice cool evening.

I struggle to remember our server's name, but she was fantastic! Had strong recommendations and was decisive on helping us choose our best meals. We had the appetizers of blackened crawfish and crabcake (delicious sweet mango salsa with an almost syrupy sauce).

For entrees I had the redfish special with whipped sweet potatoes and collard greens, my wife had the Honey Salmon over Asian slaw. Absolutely enjoyed them, every bite.

For dessert we had the giant piece of death by chocolate (with ice cream recommended by our server) and some dessert martinis. The cake was large enough for 3-4 people easily but we demolished it. Extremely rich and dense, just like you'd want it.

Cocktails throughout we had each had the pineapple margarita to start, then I had the blackberry almond whiskey sour (perfection) and my wife had a raspberry mojito.

“Don't be fooled by the name. I'm rating this for what it is, a basic dive bar restaurant and they do it well. Easy to find. Plenty of parking in the rear lot. Stopped in on a Friday afternoon and it had a handful of locals there to eat and watch sports on one or more of the many TV's. Food was good, beer was cold and they were running several food specials. Bar tender was friendly as well as prompt. I will stop again when in the area.“

“I was in town for a training over the weekend and was told about the Friday Fish Fry at the American Legion. I am a Legion member and decided to check it out. You will get no better service, atmosphere, food, or drink! This post made me feel right at home for the entire evening made me glad I stopped in and gave me pride in that veteran community! “Been going there for years and the food is awesome but our last visit this past weekend was not that good I don’t know if it’s because of a different cook that we saw but my wife chicken salad the chicken was really dry and even with extra salad dressing it was still dry and I had the cheefSandwich and the Sauce for dipping had no flavor to it and that was usually the best part of the sandwich. “Absolutely amazing workers and management!!! Cooks mixed up mine and my bf sirloin liking and I'm not a fan of bloody meat. The manager was called over and he got me a new one. I was just expecting the sirloin but no he came out with all the sides that came with it and boxed it up for me. Our waitress was amazing and very understanding and very polite and told me it was okay as I am not one to complain about my food!!! Totally will be back and recommending this place!!!“
