“Celebrated my daughter’s birthday with 17 people…Tim was outstanding with reacting to us just stopping in with no reservations! He was able to accommodate us with the longest table in the bar area and also assigned Avery as our bartender and order taker. Plenty of appetizers and pizza’s to boot! Tim also tossed in a round of shots for all! Very impressed, all with a full dining room and never skipped a beat. Definitely will be back as well as highly recommend!!!“

“We attended a family wedding at Milwaukee Ale House on 10/5/24. The party staff was AMAZING. They were professional, attentive, and kept things running smoothly. Sue the coordinator is top notch. She met us the morning of the wedding so that we could set out centerpieces and other decorations. She has great ideas and is super easy to work with, she definitely knows what she is talking about. Jason the bartender makes amazing drinks and is very creative, the best drinks I've had in a long time. Jason also was a pro at handling a guest that had too much to drink, he sensed it and dealt with it in a way that did not embarrass the guest at all. Jamie was working that night as well, she is organized, fast and handled some last minute table changes without a complaint. Sue, Jason and Jamie were wonderful and deserve a pay increase for the services they provide, I am sure they are not making what they deserve. It's not often you come across such hard working individuals and it was truly a pleasure. I will not hesitate to recommend the Milwaukee Ale House to anyone that is looking for a wedding/party venue.“

The owner is there almost every time we go, and he is extremely nice and helpful. There was a mistake in my order one time, he fixed it immediately, which is all you can expect. We all make mistakes.
You have to try the cheese curds! But the burgers are good, lasagna is good, the filet is good, really everything is good!“

“This "hole in the wall" bar is a must stop. I love visiting bars like this because of the community they provide. I was welcomed by the locals and had great conversation through my visit.The area is out in the country and can be tricky to find. Once I arrived, there was plenty of street parking as well as a lot in the back The inside was charming with a vintage vibe. Drinks were strong and their menu is lengthy. I ordered a cup of the soup which was styled after the Reuben sandwich. The corned beef was excellent. The soup is creamy and flavorful. I have tried to stop by again but they are only open Tuesday through Thursday. I wish I had checked the menu it because the reviews online show a fish fry but I'm not sure if that's available daily since they're closed on Friday? I hope you find out soon!“

“Stopped in recently for the first time and had the crispy chicken sandwich. It was the best chicken sandwich I have ever had. Crispy, juicy and hot - served on a toasted brioche bun with fresh lettuce, tomato and a creamy mayonnaise. The Kettle Chips were perfect. Good price and great service. You can tell they care about what they do. Looking forward to trying the meatball sub.“

“Stopped by off of the Intraurban bike trail for a lite lunch. Was a beautiful early May Day and was able to sit on the patio overlooking the marina. Had the Greek lemon chicken soup of the day and Asian sesame crispy Brussel sprouts. Both were delicious. So many Brussels had to eat in another meal. Highly recommend and service was fast and friendly.“

“Surprisingly good. Made a reservation just to try a new fish fry so we went to 8900 Bar & Bistro. Easy parking for a Friday night. We were warmly greeted, staff were very friendly and attentive. The fish fry was extremely good and this restaurant offers combinations so I tried the cod and shrimp. The serving size was huge for the money, I actually made two meals out of this. Everything was perfectly cooked. Now I want to try some of their other menu items. Seating was very comfortable. Great value for the money. Will go back to try other menu items.“

“George Webbs is absolutely phenomenal! I went there one day and I was amazed. The waitresses and waiters are so kind. They are in their mid 80’s still working amazing! They told me that they love working, and I can tell they do. Although the building was dirty, but that is a very old building so I don’t blame them. The food was amazing! It’s fresh and delicious. Every time I go there it gets better every time. 100% recommended. (Definitely get there chili)“

“My cousin, son and I had the pleasure of dining at Pliers Full Circle Restaurant last Saturday, July 23rd. We all ordered the prime rib special and it was just that, SPECIAL. Haven't had that good a cut of prime rib for years......... Oh, the staff was very good and attentive to our needs. Definitely will return on our next trip to Port Washington.“

“For DECADES, the Gerndt Extended Family has patronized and enjoyed getting together at Family Table. It was my Parents' favorite place to go and they were very regular customers there. When in town and since I moved back here from Ioea to help care for my parents in their last years, they lived to 95 with Alzheimers, up until the very end I took them to Family Table where we were always treated very well. We especially love the portions having another meal or two to take home, and previously free desserts with the meal which understandably due to the economy even many years ago, that bonus was stopped. But we still love there dessert assortments with me loving their Strawberry Cheeseake! My daughter and I especially carry on our Family Tradition at Family Table, getting together with my son and his wife, my sisters, my nieces, friends. We would love to see them open again on Sundays as it was a great place to go after Church. Hopefully they can get staff to open Sundays again. Even during the Pandemic we loved the way they all learned and properly wore their masks as we continued to patronize Family Table using their carry-out, especially their Friday Night Fish Fries which are spectacular!!! Today, my sister and her husband are here from Lake of the Ozarks near Camden, MO, and where did sister invite us to meet? Yup. Family Table! Great Food, Reasonable Prices, Large Portions, Excellent Service, Wonderful, Comfortable Relaxing. Quaint Atmosphere. I had the Pork Chops Special, w Pork Chops fried covered in mushroom onions gravie meal which included my Baked Potato with Butter and Sour Cream, Salad, and Corn. Super Delicious!!! Every one else's meals were delicious as well. Ehen my Dad and Mom passed away, i told the Manager and staff and they remembered them well and would miss them. I have not been able to frequent the Family Table for several months due to medical issues, but as things get better I/we will be back for sure on a regular basis. “As far as fast food chains, which I typically do not eat at, Culver's tops them all. The only one that comes close in Chic-fil-a. The cheese curds are a must and can be substituted for your fries. Hubby added an extra overeasy and sausage to go with his bacon. I just ordered bacon and scrambled eggs. Bacon was cooked perfectly, and the sausage was very tasty. Great portion size. “Normally we have good luck at the Chancery. Not the case yesterday. I went with my six year old, clearly a “kid” but the seating host didn’t give us a kids menu. I had to go ask for one. I ordered the California wrap with no onions or avocado because I have some food sensitivities. It came with no onions or tomato. I didn’t realize this until I was about halfway through eating it. Thankfully it’s just sensitivity and not an allergy. The cheese on my son’s grilled cheese was barely melted. I could clearly see where each slice of cheese was placed. When the server brought our bill, he did not bring a pen to sign my slip. A bunch of little things but they added up. Hopefully our next experience will be better.“

“Back in March, of this year, with one day to go visiting family in Grafton, we happened upon Port Washington’s Toucan Restaurant. We wished we had discovered Toucan much sooner. Come April, we managed to stop in four times! What a pleasure! The food and custard offerings are excellent and the prices highly competitive. “Sul” is a great chef in preparing both Middle East and American taste delights. Jackie, among her other duties, is a most cordial hostess. With no disrespect intended for the other more well known custard venues in the area, Toucan and their unique custard creations, in our opinion, surpass them. And the young folks employed at the facility are really kind and helpful. Even the atmosphere is such that we noticed customers seem to enjoy chatting with strangers to the area like us.
