“My girlfriend and I stopped here for dinner on the way to Harrington Beach state park. The food was really, really good. Large portions, very hot, and very tasty. We chatted with the owner for a while and he was friendly and welcoming. A must-stop if you're in Belgium.“
“Stopped by this restaurant to try it and I wasn't disappointed. The prices are very reasonable and the food was good. The portions are a good size also. The inside is a bit crowded, but that's a small price to pay for good food at a reasonable price.“
“The pretzel combo appetizer was so delicious and amazing!! They served it and I freaked out!! It made me so happy!! Huge fluffy delicious pretzel the size of an extra large pizza filled w giant Mac n cheese bites and chicken nuggets and cheese curds! Each tastier than the other. You had me at giant pretzel!!!!! And of course cheese for dipping. Ordered the fish combo for dinner - omg the scallops were magical. The fried fish lightly breaded and oh so tasty. Would definitely drive 2 1/2 plus hours to come back. Seriously, the pretzel alone are what dreams are made of“

“I’ve been coming to Java Dock for almost 15 years now. Coffee is phenomenal, food is phenomenal, staff is phenomenal, and the atmosphere is relaxing. I could not have anything better to say about this place. It’s near and dear to my heart.“
“We were on our way from Milwaukee to Greenbay and stopped for food. Great experience all around. We were a little early for the all you can eat Fish fry, but the owner (Mary) stopped by our table and dropped off a plate of fresh fried fish for us all to try. I can't say enough great things about this place. I wish we lived closer because we would be regulars. Thank you for making our visit so great.“
“The bartenders make this a fun place to hang out. They are friendly and engaging. They are happy to recommend a beer if you are feeling stuck. The food here is delicious. The poutine of the day is such a fun thing. Food is not an afterthought at this brewpub. The atmosphere is interesting. I know that they are moving to a new location soon and I’m excited to see what they do with that space.“
“We got the tempura cauliflower for an appetizer, which was good. I was surprised the sauce came on the side, I would have assumed it'd be tossed, but the portion size was generous and tasty. I got the hipster sandwich, which was a lot and definitely not able to be picked up. I feel like less is more with this dish. I don't think it needs as many toppings and it would still have been delicious. My husband got the Friday fish fry beer battered and smashed potatoes. The coleslaw was good and we're generally not coleslaw fans but the dill dressing made it stand out. The location is amazing, would return again.“
“Visiting from out of town and met some co-workers for dinner. The gluten free options are more than I’ve seen in most restaurants. I had the braised short ribs. They were perfectly cooked. Tender and well seasoned. The mashed potatoes were delicious. Also had a maple old fashioned. Perfect pairing for being up north. Finished with GF Black Forest cake. Amazing!“
“Great food, Great service, great experience. Best marketing director ever!Vegetarian options: All delicious!Dietary restrictions: Everything is available!Parking: Free, close and plentiful!Kid-friendliness: Best kid friedly atmospheric ever!Wheelchair accessibility: Very easy!“
“My lemon drop martini was disappointingwhich is upsetting when it's so expensive and not even topped off. It tasted like all lemon juice no vodka or simple syrup. Cheese curds could have a different plating so they don't come all stuck together in a greasy lump. Baked potato was underwhelming and seemed old. My prime rib was cooked perfectly just lacking in seasoning. The French onion soup was delicious.“
“I will be honest- I had lower expectations when we walked it. The interior could use a small upgrade. But holy cow- the food was amazing and service was fantastic. We drove a bit over an hour just to camp, I would do that again just to come here again. Prices are very reasonable, drinks are strong, burgers are out of this world- the perfect Wisconsin pub.“
“Delicious breakfast sandwiches and pastries. We had a coffee cake, brioche donut, morning bun, and muffin. The muffin was a bit dry, but the morning bun was delicious and the coffee cake was also scrumptious. They also made a mean latte. The sinage is a bit vague. It is beside the BBQ place, sign on the window.“
“From the Chicago burbs we love to visit small towns and find hidden gems and this is one! We had the Ruben and a pattymelt along with broccoli and cheese soup and mozzarella sticks… server was great, food came out quick and hot! We loved everything we had we will be back!“
“The 3 of us had a very short time for lunch while our dog was with the Vet. We were directed upstairs and into the terrace view. The young man was so helpful and really exemplified the friendliness of Port Washington. We had been in an auto for. 5 hrs and under some stress of the specialized vet visit for our very distressed pet. He directed us to the terrace, turned the music down and the atmosphere was just what we all needed . The view of the bay, the sunshine , quiet and such friendliness of our waiter really was perfect the food was also perfect We had 2 the fish sandwiches with onion rings and fries and a plain burger. It arrived very fresh, fast and hot. We would definitely come back and I have recommended it to friends visiting the area. I hope to meet our waiter in our north woods one day. May I suggest that the chamber or whomever does the website review said typical bar food. That almost made us not come here thinking just pizza or prepkgd food deep fried. I am really glad it was a Monday because some others were not opened. They failed to mention the spectacular view, the whole staff welcomed us in and also wished us well. The menu is not typical at all.and the food well prepared and delicious with great welcoming service.“
“If you are in the Port Washington area, do yourself a favor and stop by this place. The food is delicious. They have a pretty decent variety of choices, including shawarma and falafel. The real draw here though is the custard. It’s smooth, creamy and delicious. They have daily flavors/specials that are always worth considering. A lot of the specials sauces are made in house and are phenomenal. Today’s orange and cranberry was a refreshing blend of sweet and tart.“
“We had dinner last night with our 3 children. I was apprehensive because of the negative reviews BUT I must say "don't believe everything you read". You really must experience it for yourself. Christmas decorations were a delight. Our waitress and all the staff we came in contact with were pleasant and polite. I had the salad bar which was full of crisp variety lettuce, lots of toppings, noodle salads and cute bread shaped croutons that were delicious. Salad bar is chilled to perfect Temperature. My husband had the flat iron steak which was medium to the tee. Our oldest had chicken tenders that looked hand dipped and she ate everything. Our middle daughter had a chicken sandwich which she liked and ate everything. Our youngest ordered grilled cheese and since he never eats his food when we go out; we took it to go and he ate everything the next day for lunch. Our children had sundaes for dessert which are very large and they enjoyed them. We will be back!!“
“A friend of mine rented the back room space for a family gathering. Honestly, it has a really lovely ambiance. The bar where we were getting our drinks from, however, got super swamped super fast. Sadly, it seemed like the owner was the only one handling it. More than a few times, I saw other workers just milling about or relaxing in the kitchen and back room. Here's hoping it was just a weird night because of being down a dining space for the party.“
“I love this place. I’ve been there several times, especially for brunch. Plus their breakfast and lunch food is super yummy. Just as yummy as the Luxembourg Cafe place. Usually, I eat their breakfast food for lunch. So I ate 2 scrambled eggs, 2 bacons, hash browns, sausages, and white or wheat toast. It’s healthy, decent, affordable & a great place to eat at. My mom goes there too & she loves it. We hope this place remains opened. Especially for the nearby customers. Thanks Family Fredonia!????Parking: It’s simple to find parking. There’s hardly any cars. Just a few, that’s all.“
“The gyro bowl exceeded my expectations, which were already high. The cheese curds were exactly what you would expect of Wisconsin cheese curds, amazing. The side of pancakes were light and fluffy with the amazing fresh strawberry sauce. Our waitress was phenomenal with frequent checks, although the restaurant was busy, and energetic throughout my many questions. For a starter, three main meals, and add ons for the sides, it was still around $40. A steal in today’s economy. The quality of food, service, cleanliness, and environment make this a place I want to return to every time I’m traveling through.“
