“Loved the vibe and the small menu. It was very cute and cozy. It is always nice to see clearly marked gluten free options. The Fish was fantastic and paired with my wine well. Thank you for having me!

“This "hole in the wall" bar is a must stop. I love visiting bars like this because of the community they provide. I was welcomed by the locals and had great conversation through my visit. The area is out in the country and can be tricky to find. Once I arrived, there was plenty of street parking as well as a lot in the back The inside was charming with a vintage vibe. Drinks were strong and their menu is lengthy. I ordered a cup of the soup which was styled after the Reuben sandwich. The corned beef was excellent. The soup is creamy and flavorful. I have tried to stop by again but they are only open Tuesday through Thursday. I wish I had checked the menu it because the reviews online show a fish fry but I'm not sure if that's available daily since they're closed on Friday? I hope you find out soon!“

“Surprisingly good. Made a reservation just to try a new fish fry so we went to 8900 Bar & Bistro. Easy parking for a Friday night. We were warmly greeted, staff were very friendly and attentive. The fish fry was extremely good and this restaurant offers combinations so I tried the cod and shrimp. The serving size was huge for the money, I actually made two meals out of this. Everything was perfectly cooked. Now I want to try some of their other menu items. Seating was very comfortable. Great value for the money. Will go back to try other menu items.“

“Normally we have good luck at the Chancery. Not the case yesterday. I went with my six year old, clearly a “kid” but the seating host didn’t give us a kids menu. I had to go ask for one. I ordered the California wrap with no onions or avocado because I have some food sensitivities. It came with no onions or tomato. I didn’t realize this until I was about halfway through eating it. Thankfully it’s just sensitivity and not an allergy. The cheese on my son’s grilled cheese was barely melted. I could clearly see where each slice of cheese was placed. When the server brought our bill, he did not bring a pen to sign my slip. A bunch of little things but they added up. Hopefully our next experience will be better.“

“Back in March, of this year, with one day to go visiting family in Grafton, we happened upon Port Washington’s Toucan Restaurant. We wished we had discovered Toucan much sooner. Come April, we managed to stop in four times! What a pleasure! The food and custard offerings are excellent and the prices highly competitive. “Sul” is a great chef in preparing both Middle East and American taste delights. Jackie, among her other duties, is a most cordial hostess. With no disrespect intended for the other more well known custard venues in the area, Toucan and their unique custard creations, in our opinion, surpass them. And the young folks employed at the facility are really kind and helpful. Even the atmosphere is such that we noticed customers seem to enjoy chatting with strangers to the area like us. Toucan is such a great addition to our favorite Wisconsin town, Port Washington. - Sue and Jim, Smyrna, TN“

“Had a great breakfast at the Beacon restaurant. We enjoyed the harbor view while eating. We both had coffee, which was nice and strong, and we both ordered the Captain's breakfast. Hubby added an extra overeasy and sausage to go with his bacon. I just ordered bacon and scrambled eggs. Bacon was cooked perfectly, and the sausage was very tasty. Great portion size. Our server was attentive. The only downside was that we were seated by the door leading to the patio. It was very busy with people going in and out. Our table was definitely too close to it.“

“Celebrated my daughter’s birthday with 17 people…Tim was outstanding with reacting to us just stopping in with no reservations! He was able to accommodate us with the longest table in the bar area and also assigned Avery as our bartender and order taker. Plenty of appetizers and pizza’s to boot! Tim also tossed in a round of shots for all! Very impressed, all with a full dining room and never skipped a beat. Definitely will be back as well as highly recommend!!!“
