“This is truly a neighborhood diner that is a local favorite spot. We went on a Saturday mid-morning for brunch, and trust me . . . We were not alone. That joint was packed. We had about a 25 minute wait which was cool. Once we got seated, we were greeted by our waitress. The wait staff is not like an ordinary staff. They are a group of people that look like they just put on whatever is clean and come to work. You really don’t know who works there as the restaurant staff look like the average customer. . , it’s kinda weird, but it works. Our waitress was awesome!We had the Buffalo chicken BLT wrap with hand cut fries and creamy coleslaw and the spicy chicken quesadilla with tortilla chips w/salsa and sour cream. “Restaurant looks plain and ordinary from the outside but inside is top notch. Service left nothing to be desired - perfect. Ordered all of the appetizers and they did not disappoint either! Every one was amazing - 10 out of 10! Had the Korean tacos, smoked salmon dip, spring rolls ( they were out of pork belly and replaced them with these), flautas, scallops. All were amazing and blew my mind that every appetizer was perfect - I would have expected at least one to leave room for improvement but no! Highly recommended“

We went on a Saturday, so we only had the option of 4 course menu (7 is reserved for weeknights, we'll definitely be back). “First time in, Friday night for two of us for a friend’s birthday. Everything was superb, food was so delicious, staff was very accommodating. Friendly and helpful service from my questions over the phone before booking, to altering our reservation, to dinner service with our wonderful server Moi, to serving my carry-in cake. Homemade bread was excellent and their tomato sauce was out of this world. I got the cioppino he got the ravioli and we just kept raving about the sauce. 5 stars highly recommend“

“One of our go-to places for happy hour! They have great drink deals and the food is also so good. I normally get the house sangria but this time I tried some sour cherry and lime spritzer. It wasn't on the menu for some reason but the bartender recommended it, as it's very popular. for food, we went with the breakfast poutine - always a good choice. And we tried the pancake batter fried cheese curds which were AMAZING. They come with maple syrup for dipping and it's unreal. Such a cute spot and it never disappoints!“

We were invited to a surprise birthday party for a dear friend, and I did not know what to expect of this “restaurant.” I leave the word restaurant in quotations because it was much more than that. It was an intimate dinner party EXPERIENCE where the staff blended in the background and it felt like our group were the only ones there. Everyone had a hand in the experience, from the bartender to the servers to the chef. They were unobtrusive, funny, helpful, and generous. We were in the upstairs room and there was plenty of space to mingle and move around. What I love, as a self professed window shopper, is how much stuff there is to look at. I am seriously jealous of Chef David’s eclectic collection of goods. I can get lost in all his secret rooms passageways and antiques. I could easily spend hours looking at everything in his office alone just like I would at Target or Hobby Lobby lol. I would give 6/5 if I could for experience.Food was amazing, curated and discussed beforehand, per our friend who hosted this party. He planned everything out with the chef, having some choice in it, but not all. Regardless, all courses were amazing and plentiful. You do not leave hungry. The crème brûlée was my FAVORITE PART. The breakfast Burrito was a good size, bigger than expected as it was about standard burrito size (you know how some places offer smaller breakfast sized burritos) The corndogs were pretty good, although they were about half the size the picture online made them appear. Fries did not disappoint and my son said his burger sliders were good. Overall it seems like you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Employees seemed in good spirits too.“

From the food, to the ambiance, to the service... you can't go wrong! I haven't had a restaurant leave an impression on me in so long, but Bellis Bistro did it! They were courteous, played great music, served up delicious food and made our time spent there worth it. For what I paid, I feel like I got my money's worth. “My husband and I met up with a few friends here on a Saturday night and it was super busy! It took a little bit of waiting at the bar to get a table, but we did settle into a booth soon enough. Our waitress was super sweet and was clearly working very hard on this busy night, but took excellent care of us. I had a French Kiss followed by the House Daiquiri. The French Kiss was yummy, but a little strong on the hibiscus syrup in my opinion. The House Daiquiri was confusing - all the daiquiris I've ever had have been served neat in a coupe - my friend ordered a vodka gimlet which was served this way - but the daiquiri was on the rocks in a tall glass. It was very good nevertheless. My husband got an old fashioned, which he thoroughly enjoyed. They also have some bar food which we were excited to try. We ordered a basket of salted fries and risotto bites, but found out after that they were out of the risotto bites. The fries were really good: the outside was crispy and inside fluffy and not dense. It was also seasoned very well. I imagine the risotto bites were equally delicious, so we'll have to go back to try it! Our check did include the risotto bites, but our waitress was sweet and fixed it right away. Overall a good experience and would definitely come back!“

“First time trying this place it's a small dining area and parking can be a bit of an issue since they're in a gas station parking lot, that is rather small. The food was fabulous. I had the taco dinner which on Tuesday was $17 for three tacos, a side of beans and rice as well as a free drink. The tacos I had were two ground beef, and one shredded pork they were very tasty. Really loved the seasoning on the shredded pork. The beans with the, cheese on top were fabulous. Mexican rice was cooked just right would definitely go back. The server was very attentive. They were just a little stingy on the ice for the ice water I requested for some reason other than that everything else was fantastic.“
