Prime rib sandwich is pillow soft, so flavorful and satisfying. Great garlic and herb butter seasoning on everything. I had a nasty respiratory infection a couple months prior, hadn't been able to taste much of anything for over two months... until coming here. I could taste the amazing flavor cooked into all of our items for the first time since getting sick. This was probably about the most satisfying dining experience I've ever had. “Friday’s lunch took me to Dale Z’s On Tour at 3585 S Howell Ave, Milwaukee, WI, for the 4th installment of my Fish Fry adventures for 2025. The meal provided a satisfying experience, with a few small areas that could be improved, but overall, a good choice if you're craving a pleasant fish fry. Options for the Fish Fry: Friday Fish Fry – $12.95 for 3 pieces of cod (fried, baked, or blackened), served with coleslaw, buttered marble rye, lemon, tartar sauce, and a choice of fries, potato pancakes (2), or Soup of the Day. Additional cod is $2.95, and tartar sauce is $0.50. Apple sauce or maple syrup available by request. Shrimp Fry – $13.95 for 8 crispy butterflied shrimp, coleslaw, buttered marble rye, lemon, cocktail sauce, and a choice of fries, potato pancakes (2), or Soup of the Day. Additional shrimp is $4.95, and cocktail sauce is $0.50. Apple sauce or maple syrup available by request. In addition to the fish fry options, there was a Side of Potato Pancakes for $3.95, and the Soup of the Day was clam chowder—available in cup ($3.95), bowl ($4.95), or quart to-go ($11.95). The Meal: I went solo this time and started with a cup of clam chowder, followed by the Friday Fish Fry—fried cod with fries. Clam Chowder: While the clam chowder wasn’t the most exciting, it was still decent. It was missing a few of the key ingredients I typically love in chowder, like salted pork, onions, and celery. The texture wasn’t as creamy as I’d prefer, and the potatoes were a bit mushy, but the flavor itself was satisfying enough. It was a nice way to start the meal Fish Fry: The fried cod was pleasant. It was thinly battered and not greasy. The fries were the standard kind you’d expect—nothing fancy, but good. Honestly, I’d go for the potato pancakes next time, as I think they’d complement the fish better than fries. The coleslaw was fresh and creamy, providing a nice contrast to the crispy fish. Shrimp Fry: The Shrimp Fry ($13.95) caught my eye as well, and from the looks of it, it was a solid choice for shrimp lovers. It comes with 8 crispy butterflied shrimp, which are golden and perfectly fried—crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. The shrimp are served with cocktail sauce for dipping, and the same sides as the fish fry (coleslaw, buttered marble rye, fries or pancakes). I didn’t try the shrimp this time, but the plate looked well-balanced and a great alternative to the fish. Overall Value: The total for my meal came to $25.21 including tip, which included the cup of clam chowder, the fish fry, and a coke. I felt the price was fair for the portion sizes and the quality of the food. Plus, the service was friendly and attentive, making the experience enjoyable. Final Thoughts: Overall, Dale Z’s On Tour offers a solid fish fry with good value and friendly service. While the chowder wasn’t my favorite and the fries were standard, the fish was pleasant, and the shrimp fry is a great option if you’re in the mood for another seafood option. If you're in the Milwaukee area and looking for a reliable fish fry, Dale Z’s is definitely worth a stop. I will make sure to try the potato pancakes next time!“

She helps me navigate this large, fabulous menu & she has never steered us wrong. She is so knowledgeable, fast & friendly. I only wish every place had a Katie to accent a menu this delicious. Grilled wings
Ooh, these were perfectly grilled. Very tasty sauce (hot honey garlic, at Thomas’ recommendation) that wasn’t overdone or underdone - just the right amount. I usually get my wings naked because so many places go wrong with the amount of sauce (usually just too drenched), but since we were on a timeline tonight, we just ordered without asking for anything else. So glad we did! By the way, not fried wings, so not super crunchy on the outside but still crispy and not at all soggy. And super moist, perfect temp inside.

Tap Guinness
Perfectly poured with just the right amount of cream on top. Hany is usually an IPA man, and went Guinness this time and did not regret it!

Overall, this place is a little bit further away than the new hopping bars on the Deer District. I wanted to try the new places, so kept on trying them while hubby wanted to keep coming back here… and I’m glad we did this time. Sometimes new is good, but they’ve got it right here - I don’t have to keep searching!

“Im going to need a bigger box! This place is perfect for game days! We went 3x this 2025 season. We go a little early to ensure parking. Pay $20 to park and they take $20 off yr food bill inside. We relax and enjoy for an hour or so then take their busses to amfam for drop off and pick up. Safe, fun, free (please tip yr driver!) Never had an easier time! So seamless, convenient, fun. The staff is great, the food is great bar food. If you need a ride and don't want all the walking, driving, parking hassles, take advantage of their offer. I will never go to a game again without going to KBs for my pregame fun! Oh and the pretzel...its deelish and I don't think im exaggerating if I say its bigger than a bread box!“

“Great bar good but not typical, eg the usual French Dip is called an Irish Dip, served with sliced tenderloin steak. Cheese and Brat soup for game day. Wings are delicious with lots of sauces.
On Brewers game days their lot fills up fast, but there's plenty of neighborhood street parking.“
