“The chef came out to take my order. She makes everything by hand. From scratch soup, hand patty burgers, hand battered fish ... oh yeah. So excited. I tried the white cheese curds first. Wow!! So good. They are served with ranch dressing - that was new and appreciated. Made from scratch chicken dumpling soup next. All fresh ingredients ... nothing canned. Small bowl with oyster crackers. Sorry - no pic ... I ate it to quick. Okay ... now to the pepper Jack/Peanut Butter/Bacon Burger ... hand pattied by the chef herself. The simple bun is flat iron grilled, crispy fried bacon crumbled under the cheese and above the burger. The peanut butter on the top bun. This is a smaller burger ... all the love placed in the cooking and simply plated. Overall a perfectly sized and executed meal. Not to much to bloat you and really good flavors. This is a nice American Tavern Eatery with a sit at bar, high top tables, a couple lower booths, and a pool table. I came here for lunch but I could see this place could get hopping at night.“
“We had Chicken Bacon Ranch pizza and Barbecue Chicken pizza and loved them both! The eating area is a basic multifunction room that they rearrange for baseball darts also. There is a big game room in back and also a bar area in front. Friendly people and Excellent service!“
“Undoubtedly this is my go to place for breakfast when my work brings me to the area. Great breakfast. Wonderful people. I support local businesses for sure and their food tends to be better than national franchises or chains. I most strongly endorse this wonderful place with kind and caring people.“
“On Wednesday it's all you can eat smelts. I love this place, I've only been to this place 2 times and plan to go often. I have loved smelts since I was a little girl and now I was told about this place from my next door neighbor that knows that I love smelts. They open at 11:00 a. m. But you have to make a reservation it will be best because it will get packed fast.Parking: Small parking lot“
“It was very busy when I went in because they had two parties going. I did not have anything to eat so I cannot rate the food. They made a fabulous lemon drop Martini but it was smaller than most martini glasses I'm used to and was quite expensive, at $11. I have to say Sheryl did a wonderful job cleaning up the place from what it used to be!“
“Always five starsDinner with friendsSpecial treat from Timmers as it was my birthday and busser overhead our birthday conversation and relayed it to severWas served a wonderful dessert compliments on Timmers. Wonderful gestureThanks Timmers“
“I had never been here before but members of our group of seven have been here for dinners and other occasions. This was not the typical dining experience since it was Easter brunch. The place was packed but the friendly staff did a great job keeping things moving . The buffet was kept well stocked. The Bloody Mary was very good and came with a deviled egg. The selection of food was very good and the quality was also good. The German potato salad was excellent, as was the smoked salmon. The glazed waffles were incredible. The price for the buffet was reasonable $37. A bonus was the great view from the dining room. It would nice to return in summer for a dinner and to dine outside.“
“I went in after a few rough medical tests. I ordered a Chicago dog and a bloody. The dog was higher than the menu stated and the bloody mary was $8! Yikes. I relocated. I engaged the manager in conversation and he was talkative which was good.“
