“Well worth the wait for this place to open. It was remodeled tastefully. Definetly higher end for watertown especially. The food was amazing. Chef Chris (culinary genius from old cocos in oconomowoc) has worked his magic again. The menu is 1 page, which i love. “I visited the river trap for the first time last month.. our bartender was Ashley and she definitely is a great asset to your team! She is very bubbly and super sweet. Her drink mixing skills are amazing! A giant plus for mixing with jolly good root beer!!! The atmosphere is not rowdy and I love the set up of the bar and game room because it sets you apart from every other bar in our area! I've been back one more time during a Packer game and had a blast playing the quarter pusher and the gambling machine! Of course I bought pull tabs and won the wheel spin!! As long as the River trap exists I will definitely come and visit more often!! I tell so many people how great this place is because I have lived in Watertown many years and never knew this place is a real gem!!! Give them a try!!!“

The Bloody Marys were fantastic, the food was delicious, and our bartender was friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. “Had a reservation for my wife and I on a Saturday night. Arrived at our reservation time table is ready about 15 minutes later no big deal that’s what you’d expect. Though we did eat a little later in the night after 8:30 and our meal did feel a bit rushed. Got an appetizer. Salads came pretty much right after. And probably about 10 minutes later our main course arrive. Prime rib was excellent. My wife’s steak was cooked perfectly. Server was super kind and nice. But didn’t clear one plate from our table. I think she was a little less experienced. She was super nice. Hope she improves. Definitely will be back and request a Riverside view. Menu has a wide variety of choices. The duck sound sounded great. But you can never go wrong with prime rib.“
