“Everything about this place is top notch. I've paid more money in fancy restaurants for a lesser quality product. Service was phenomenal, food was delicious and it arrived extremely fast! We had a party of 9 and were out of there in less than an hour (with a full bar)! If you are in the area you'd be silly to go anywhere else!“
“Even short staffed, they worked as a team to make sure every table was taken care of as quickly as possible. Tables and chairs were full again almost as soon as they were vacated. Everyone was pleasant. Food came out quickly and was hot and freshly made to order.“
“Think of American icons, baseball, mom, hot dogs, apple pie and the Friday night fish fry in Wisconsin. Going to the Eagles' Club is not just a dining adventure; but a participation of an iconic event. First of all the place is old school, kind of dark with stately wood trim and decor. First we walked into the bar on the first floor. No, the fish fries are in the basement, down the narrow, wooden stairway. We took the advice to get there before 1700 hrs. It gets real busy after that. There is a ritual to follow here. Belly up to the bar and have a couple of drinks before eating. Drinks were only three bucks apiece. Just before the fish fry starts you go into the restaurant area and get a number. By the time we caught on, we got number 20. That meant one more gin and tonic and some more conversation (my wife and I are pretty outgoing). Finally at our table a cheerful lass took our order. I ordered pan fried perch and my wife ordered spicy catfish. My perch was really good. Better than her catfish (one thing they do better in the south is catfish). The fries were copious and good, as was the cole slaw. The whole evening was an experience that is unique to this area. You have to try it to believe it.“
“Food and service are great. What's not so great is they do not have soda and other drink prices listed on their menu. So you order your meal and a cola, not knowing the glass of mostly ice, is costing you about $3.00. WOW!! No more soda for me.“
“Our first time at this restaurant. We were very impressed with our meals. My husband had liver and onions. He said it was sooo tender. I had a generous portion of mashed potatoes with meatloaf smothered in gravy. Yummy good! Our meals ended with dessert! He had butterscotch pudding and I had Tapioca. Next time we need to come for pie and coffee. No room for it this time.“
“Stopped here for fish (based on reviews) and it did not disappoint! That was some of the best “Friday Night Wisco Fish” that we’ve had in a long time…and we travel a decent amount. As of today, this will be the new place to beat. What a pleasant surprise. The establishment was also fine, traditional sports bar vibes and the service was good as well.“
“The "defibrillator was awesome. Was it a big as burger heck yeah. Would I order it again probably. Small place cash only. But you already know those places are the best. I was waiting for my order and some out of towners tried to pay with card. The waiter who was prolly part owner said just get it next time and I was amazed. Not much places like that around any more. That couple will prolly never come back but that's what makes this place an must visit for the comfort and the food !!! Don't miss out !!!!“
“Can’t tell you how many times I’ve driven by this joint without stopping in. I was told their burgers rivaled those of Late’s, my favorite place in town. They are close, very close. It’s just a happening place with a lively bar scene, with plenty of TV’s to watch your favorite team. I never checked out back, but it seemed to be a great place for an outdoor patio overlooking the river. I won’t drive by as often as I have.“
“A fun bar near the heart of Manitowoc. All the appetizers I've tried are great, and when the popcorn machine is running, it's some of the tastiest I've had. The fish fry on Fridays is a must-try, and I highly recommend the bluegill basket!“
“This place was amazing! I would/will definitely go back! The woodwork around the bar is beautiful and makes you feel comfortable. Jukebox is loaded with the best music ever! The burgers were AWESOME AND DELICIOUS!Absolutely one of the best bars around Branch! The owner made us feel right at home!“
“Service was prompt and friendly. Food was great! I had the firehouse Mushroom Swiss. I added fried onions and it came with fries. I must say it was fantastic. my son had the curds which were on point. Plus I had some tenders too. All were amazing. worth the stop for local business support.Kid-friendliness: Lots of kid friendly options. they even have kid toys and a play area.“
“Ric's Bar & Grill is an excellent place to dine out! The owners were very friendly and the food was amazing! The food came out quickly and were helped in a timely matter. We ordered a double cheese burger, bbq pulled pork sandwich and a chicken sandwich. Everything was phenomenal! We also had a cheesecake and a buñuelo with ice cream and wow! Both were amazing! I give this place 10/10“
“Pretty sure this is the biggest Sports Bar in the Lakeshore Area. Lots of big screen TV's, huge bar with plenty of indoor seating. Outdoor available is summer. Food has always been very good, includes common "tavern" type sandwiches/wraps and appetizers, along with Chicken and Fish meals. Also have different daily soups. The Fish and Chips and the 4 piece Chicken Dinner have always been my go to, but the salads and pizza are pretty great too! It can be expectantly louder than some eating establishments, but this is a sports bar. So keep that in mind. Dinning area is separate from the bar, but it's pretty open And sound travels. Service has always been good and everyone is friendly. fun place, good food.“
“Decent place. The wings were fresh hot with good flavor. They were tiny however. The fries were superb. The place could use some color and character inside. It's kind of boring in there. They do have two pool tables though. It's worth another shot for sure.“
“Great food, great atmosphere, price is reasonable options are reasonable and great little find on a road trip that I was doing. Plenty of parking and plenty of space to eat inside. Would highly recommend. Just a little off highway in Manitowoc.“
“I had the spicy chicken sandwich. That was amazing. The service on that day was pretty spectacular. The main issue seems to be at night the vibe can be unwelcoming. not sure of its the bar feeding off the crowd or visa versa. Definitely a great venue for food.“
“DeGrand's is your quintessential Wisconsin small rural town's local full-menu restaurant. It has a great selection and great food. Deserts are often to die for. Daily specials as well as their Pizza Of The Month (see the sign out front). The staff are friendly hometown folks. Nice basic comfortable atmosphere. Booth, table, and counter seating are available. If gluten-sensitive / Celiac, don't be afraid to speak up. Management and many of the staff are knowledgeable and will take precautions. We have that issue and seldom have an issue. For adult beverages and after-hours, KELLY D's PUB is connected to its east side. For larger parties or events, just behind them is their large venue: GATHERINGS 43.“
“We have only went to Susters on Friday night for the chicken and fish family style dinner, well I get the family style dinner my wife gets the baked cod. You need to come hungry they will bring mashed potatoes, potato salad, stuffing, coleslaw, boasted chicken, and fish. They will keep it coming if you want more. My problem is I eat to much when I go there, but it's so good!“
“Love finding new little places to stop on road trips! What a great find! Fantastic place! A bit hesitant at first, but it got so many great reviews, we had to try it. Their wings came out looking a bit dark, but they were not burnt- they were perfect! Some of the best ever! The stuffed pepper soup was amazing as was the Monday special- $2 burger and fantastic $1 fries (cooked perfectly!) Bartender was friendly as was the owner! We would stop here again!“
“This was a light breakfast after church. One Poached Egg, 2 Whole Wheat toast with jam at the table,& 2 sausages !Coffee 1/2 Caf. n 1/2 DecafThen for dessert, split a piece of Poppyseed Torte ! Yummy !It was great for a light Breakfast !Thank You !“
“Fantastic little gem tucked away in a small town. Food was amazing, staff was courteous, friendly, fast, and on point. Old fashioned was the by far the best I've has in years! Would absolutely recommend and visit again if I'm ever back in the area.“
