“my favorite place in Madison. service is always so friendly. I loved this place even when they were at the old location. I am so happy they have been so popular and recognized in the new location; they absolutely deserve it.“

“This place is a gem of a restaurant. The food, the atmosphere, the drinks are all 10/10. One of the only places in Madison I have seen tofu skins so that alone got me in the door. A lot of the small plates are vegetarian/vegan. Everything we have tried in our two visits there has been excellent - potstickers, green beans, tofu skins, scallion pancakes. They have specials that also sound great. Service on a busy night is a little slow, as can be expected. Would recommend a reservation as they are not a huge place and fill up quickly. Highly recommend having a meal here!“

“I just relocated from Houston to Madison and this is probably the best beef noodle soup I’ve ever had. Houston has a ton of authentic and delicious food from all around the world, but nothing I’ve had has come close. I never leave reviews, but based on the service alone I had to recommend this to strangers on the internet. If you are new to or visiting Madison, this place is a must try!!!“

“QQs is legit tasty food. This isn't the old QQs from 10 or even 3 years ago. The food is well seasoned, not too salty. Many items to choose, with some constant dishes and new things that rotate daily. The lunch line moves fast!
And importantly, the price has gone up, but the increase is much less than most other restaurants. 11 dollars for two entrees and side, and it is realistically two full meals of food.“

“The bacon fried rice is a gift!! I was having a bad day and I saw this listed on their menu. THANK YOU <3 for the comfort food. It was everything I needed. Everything you make is delicious also! I work down the street and order food all the time.“

“When I say the food was good, I mean it was GOOD. My boyfriend and i finished our plates with our stomachs full and the flavor was devine. Everything was seasoned beautifully and we got such a wonderful size portion for stuff and it was piping hot the minute we got it and felt fresh. The girl at the register was also super sweet! Definitely will go again“

“They get 5 stars for being able to make food so delicious without adding a bunch of salt. Restaurants should be rated by the least amount of salt they use. The sodium amount in food is getting out of control nowadays, but of course, they wouldn't have gotten the whole 5 stars if it wasn't delicious.“

“Ordered delivery, got an unforgettable performance art piece instead. Our delivery driver arrived in a full business suit (because apparently Chinese takeout deserves black-tie service). He casually left with the tire inflator still hissing away like a pit crew at Daytona, but that’s just the kind of immersive ambiance you can’t buy. He introduced himself with a line that could’ve been written by Shakespeare on two bottles of sake, and then roared off into the night, probably en route to a board meeting and a demolition derby.
Food was hot, crab rangoon was crisp, and the entertainment value was Michelin-star level. If you want dinner and a show, this is the place. Will definitely order again.“

“It's a cheap and fast Chinese takeout. This place is better than the other Chinese takeout place(Grand China) in Stoughton. If you're not willing to drive a half hour into Madison to go to Ichiban or La Choza Del Viejo, well, this is the place.“

“Right off the bat, parking is street parking and free. However, if you get lucky this place does have like a two car parking lot.
This place has lots of sweets to buy. There's lots to choose from such as sweet red bean bread, Chinese donuts, sesame balls, pork filled buns, etc. My advice is to get there early so the sweets are fresh and still available. They tend to run out of the more popular items like sesame balls early.
If you're not into sweets, they do have a limited food menu you can order from. The food is not your typical American Chinese food, which if you're looking for more authentic Chinese food, this us the place. Expect things like dishes cooked with tendon or intestines. They do have your typical chinese dishes as well.
Overall would recommend for sweets and more authentic Chinese food.“

“Great spot I like to go on break at when I'm working in my taxi. I used to work in a kitchen where I had to crack several eggs, scramble them, then store them for the chefs to cook later when they need to. This results in a less flavorful egg that doesn't taste as fresh as a freshly cracked egg. Once I came to pick up my dinner and the chef was not done making my food. I watched him crack an egg for my fried rice. He could have used pre-cracked, pre-scrambled eggs but he used a freshly cracked egg. I understand that it's a little more effort to use a fresh egg but I really appreciate the dedication to flavor. Yum!“

“The amount and quality of food for the price is the best around. I get two dinner meals worth of food for the price of a cheap lunch. The soup is an added bonus.
The dishes are authentic Chinese, but more like a grab and go than a sit down restaurant. Perfect for when you're short on time.“

“I went here a few days ago and loved it, so much that I was browsing Google Maps while considering coming back and I noticed the average reviews and wanted to help out.
Very relaxing atmosphere while waiting for takeout. A bit of a wait but I could tell it was made fresh, not to mention others had ordered before me so I have no issues with the wait. The food was phenomenal. Delicious spring rolls and beef lo mein. And the food was still just as good reheated later that evening. Definitely worth your money, too. Very good prices for good quality food. Will be sure to come back!“

“The BEST!!! The food is delicious, the choices are hard to make - so many delicious options!“
“Found this hidden gem randomly. Food is delicious and authentic. The server is super friendly but she does not speak English. You can order by number as shown on menu. Free soft drink comes with the dishes for each person. Cheaper pricing than other Chinese restaurants nearby. Will definitely come back to try more dishes!“

“My favorite place to bring people when they visit town. Incredible food, no frills. I'm a big fan of the communal aspect of ordering a bunch of small plates for the table and sharing them. Not much seating so make a reservation if you can. If you can make it for happy hour it's kind of a ridiculous deal. Head across the street for the arcade bar afterwards.
Update 11/6/25:
They nerfed the happy hour 😞 Instead of all happy hour items half off, they now hover around 25% off (depends on the item). Still a nice deal, but far less value. To be fair, the previous happy hour was kind of an absurd deal. Still recommend!“

“For Asian-American fare, I was pleased. I ordered the General Tso's Chicken lunch. The breading wasn't overwhelming, the chicken ratio wasn't disappointing, and the sauce met expectations for consistency and flavor. It didn't blow my mind, but it was tasty. It included fried rice and vegetables. I was surprised an egg roll was added. I was too full to eat it, however. Food was plenty.
I did not check on the quality of the ingredients or whether this restaurant uses MSG, artificial colors or flavors, emulsifiers, preservatives, GMOs, or anything else.
I'm judging strictly from presentation, quantity, relative freshness, and flavor, and what you would expect for standard asian-american fare.“

“This is my go-to Chinese takeout. I usually get Pork Lo-Mein, General Tso's Two Tastes, and either Crab Rangoon or Pork Dumplings and every time it's delicious. The portions are large, and easily makes several meals for me and my wife. Very good food, very good value.
If you're looking for American-Chinese takeout, this is the place to go.“
