“Allow me to preface this review with the fact that I've moved up here from the south, so I know a thing or two about good barbecue, and I can be quite picky when it comes to this subject. With that out of the way, I'd like to praise this chain (and this location in particular) for becoming my new home away from home. Do not let the name fool you; this isn't just a generic pizza place, but a genuine, southern-style barbecue restaurant that happens to also offer pizza. Not only do they serve sweet tea, like every restaurant honestly should, but their tea is also genuinely great! My wife loves the mango-flavored one, whereas I go for the standard version, as I tend to. Seriously, this is one of like five places in northeastern Wisconsin where you can find genuine sweet tea (unless we count the other locations, of course). That being said, of course I have to talk about the food as well. I've read about on their history a bit, and it would appear the people who started this chain (in Kiel, WI, I believe) actually used to work in Kansas City, slinging up smoked meats and the like, and let me tell ya: you can absolutely taste it. The ribs in particular are great here (arguably top 3, but definitely top 5 I've ever had), and we also like to get the brisket as part of our shared platter. Now, I won't lie to you; the brisket isn't quite as consistent. While I'd rate the ribs 9/10, the brisket ranges from 6.5 to 8 out of 10; they have their good days and their bad ones when it comes to that, but it's not bad enough to where I wouldn't recommend it, as it still gets the job done, and I'm frankly somewhat of a brisket fiend. And even when it's not as good as I know it so often can be, it's nothing their sauce won't be able to fix, which I'd also like to point out: is amazing. I'm always a huge fan of Memphis and South Carolina styles, and they're both fantastic. The rest of the sauces are good, too. My wife really likes the pineapple habanero one, which I wish was spicier, but does have a nice sweetness to it.My one criticism would be that I feel that every barbecue restaurant needs to have either collard, mustard, or turnip greens, which I love to have as a side. But I do like their baked beans and mac and cheese well enough.Overall, great place to have within an hour of where we live. Southerners, this is the one! This place is authentic, right down to the wonderful atmosphere it provides. And the price is right, too.Parking: While the free street parking is limited, I have never seen it get busy enough to stop us from parking nearby, even during peak hours. I have a feeling this one of the less visited locations, which is a shame, because my wife and I love it!“
“Placed an order online. We received our order after driver left, i noticed i was missing my salad. I wasnt too concerned about so I didnt call to say anything. A little while later the driver was back with my salad. Good Job glass nickel!!!“
“My husband and I dined at ellinor for the first time last weekend. The restaurant is warm and inviting—just like the service we received. The food was presented beautifully and tasted as delicious as it looked! We cannot wait to come back for date night again soon! Thank you for a wonderful experience!“
“Went here for a quick anniversary lunch. Our waitress, Merry, was fabulous! She asked if we were out for something special & when we told her, she told us to pick a dessert. We ordered the dessert to go so she still brought out a dessert plate decorated with chocolate writing & a little whipped cream with cherries.“
“Noisy inside . Try getting in for food is the same chance of being struck by lightning. Food is good pricey but good . Drinks are skimpy ordered a soda for $2 lucky I got a full can of soda and no free refills. Soda is cheap for restaurants and shouldn't be skimpy on it.“
“I took my 93 year young mother to lunch with my niece. I was concerned that I would have issues because of her disabilities. The staff was very accommodating.I enjoy the char-grilled burgers. My mother had soup and enjoyed her lunch out.“
“I think this is the only place that has takoyaki and actually cooked them pretty well. I always have the experience of undercooked takoyaki and that's not a good time. I also ordered their special fried rice and it was so flavorful! I definitely will come eat here again!“
“If you guys are going to be closed you should update your Google instead of just throwing it on Facebook. We were able to pay for 2 wraps and order for pick up and you weren't open. The only place you had posted that you were closed was your Facebook page. Some people don't have social media. Just heads up.Otherwise we super enjoy your food, and quality of great. We just had to jump through hoops to get a refund because your Google says your open when you aren't.“
“I do come here usually for the lunch menu which I can only afford I'm a senior citizen. The food was excellent as usual. The staff very helpful and polite always. My server Noah very nice and goes out of his way to assist you when you ask for help. Thank You great day will come again.“
“I'm a doordash driver and they usually don't have me waiting past my pick up time which is nice. They get their food done quick and I never have any problems with the staff. Shout out to them for also thinking of the women out there!“
“Omg this place is great and the bar manager Leslie was phenomenal. We did a food review for our YouTube channel and well, definitely was not dissappointed. This bar is a very relaxing atmosphere, patrons were very welcoming, bloody was sooo good, and the staff was very kind. Thank you MT Pockets.R.A.W.“
“Misleading plate prices. My family loves sushi but my mother in law and myself like the alternative of rice and chicken, but were still charged $28.99 for rice. Super sticky under table 1 in the back. Mop your floors, especially when somebody spills some red sauce all over the table legs and floor. Decent service from an unconfident young man named Joshua. Great food results from the sushi lovers.“
“I had lunch with my Grandma and her sister here. We had this wonderful server! I can't remember her name. But she came to check on us multiple times and was seriously the best server I have ever had! She was so communicative, so friendly, and so personable! She catered to my Grandma and her sister's needs, and was fast. She had awesome recommendations and was just very friendly over all. I personally didn't know N&C had waitresses. But I was impressed. Our food was perfect. The temperature was great. And everyone left happy with full bellies ❤️“
“Sorry no pictures, dug in so fast I forgot to photograph the food. We loved the salsa and chips, warm and crisp salsa spicy but not overpowering. We had enchiladas and shrimp tacos. Topped off with cilantro jalapeno margaritas. Great mealParking: Ample space, lot well cared for.“
“Love Chick-fil-A food. Seasonal mango passion tea is addicting. Their drive thru is extraordinarily optimized and should be the standard for all busy fast food chains. Do not fear a long line as they will get you through as freaky fast as a Jimmy John's delivery.Inside there is not enough seating for the number of customers coming through in busy times. Probably better in nice weather when outdoor seating is an option. Back room is a bit cramped and awkward when people are trying to get to tables or workers are delivering food. They have a play area for the littles and coloring supplies to keep them occupied.“
“Food amazing. Great gluten free vegetarian options. Staff very friendly and helpful! Chairs and restrooms need a good cleaning. Disappointed that they are gender neutral.Vegetarian options: Protein is an optionDietary restrictions: They offer gluten free noodles or the fantastic zucchini noodle“
“Saw the reviews and had to try it.The food speaks for it's damn self ? my number 2 was well seasoned and loaded with toppings and the seasoned fries with the special sauce was out of this world. If you haven't tried this spot you're missing out big time. It's definitely worth the drive ?“
