The Tri Tip would very likely be what I would request my last meal to be. Yes, it's that good. Beyond that, you won't find two people who are more passionate about their craft than Jonas & Amy. They do everything right...and choosing to dine in their establishment is worth the drive.
My husband and I found out about this place from the staff at the arboretum. After one of the staff shared a bite of their delicious collard greens, we decided to try it out before heading back home to Illinois. It was worth it! The collards were tasty, my husband enjoyed the cole slaw and pork belly and my pulled chicken was very tasty! The banana pudding was very good too. Definitely worth a visit to their restaurant if you are in the area or their food truck if you see it!
First time we tried this place. It was outstanding! The owner Jonas was great offering us samples of both the cucumber lemonade and the tri tip. Loved them both and we would recommend this place to everyone who loves a great barbeque. Clean and polite staff make you want to come back again and again.
