“Family was traveling to our campsite on 7/19/2019 when with the drop of a hat the weather turned severe. 70+ mph winds, this while pulling a 34 ft camper. Pulled into the parking lot with two very scared young kids and a dog. Lynda and the patrons took us in to seek shelter and treated us better than family. Amazing people! Would recommend stopping on if you are in the area, we will make this an annual stop when we are in the area each year to camp. Lynda made a very stressful situation for us all, feel like a regular day. Thanks again Lynda for the amazing hospitality! Forever patrons, the Woods's.”

“Typical Wisconsin dive bar, but the food looked amazing. I hadn't ordered anything, but there was a large variety of menu options and the chicken smelled amazing! My bloody mary was delicious. Bathrooms were very dated and could have been cleaner (out of hand soap). Bartenders were friendly and attentive.”

“Brian and Wendy have a fantastic place here. We have been to the Hiawatha a few times and have eaten here too. The food is wonderful, my favorite are the burgers. The staff is excellent and the dining area was recently upgraded with more tables so seating is a breeze. I would recommend stopping here for a cold drink or tasty food with great service!”
