“You can tell that as much thought and care went into crafting the ambiance and space as there was in crafting the coffee. I've never been in a coffee shop as warm, inviting and cozy as this. Immediately upon entering there is a wheelchair lift to make the space accessible for everyone. The scent from the wood burning fire and various coffees is absolutely heavenly. This is someplace you'd like to settle into for the morning. If you're just passing through and loved their coffee, you can get it shipped to your house from their website at a very reasonable price.“

“I tried 2 tasty warm items today a feta and spinach pastry and a chicken croquette. I would say these are some of the tastiest things I have tried in a long time. Flaky pastry with a buttery taste and a croquette with the chicken that was so flavorful! What a lovely place. They also offered other warm items, pastries and a lovely seating area and free internet. I will come again. Perfect for coffee, small groups, families or to do work on the computer.“

“Stopped in one weekday morning for a hot beverage and some bakery. It's part of a larger building with large windows on the front. There are a couple of basic small café tables out front. Inside is a large space that is brightly lit through the plate glass windows. There are tables set up throughout, mainly for couples, but they could be combined for larger groups. There are also stools at the counter for seating.

There wasn’t anyone else in the place when I arrived, so it was very quiet. Got greeted by the friendly cashier/barista. I wanted to get a London Fog Tea Latte, but they were out of Earl Grey, so I ordered a Chai Latte instead. They didn’t have a scone, but the cinnamon roll with icing looked pretty good too. Offered to warm it up, and I said definitely yes.

It took a few minutes for the drink to be ready, which means they let the tea steep properly. When it got delivered to my table, I was pleasantly surprised by the latte art in the foam. I have never had a barista give me that special treatment and was thankful. The cinnamon roll was warm, gooey, and delicious.

Definitely a place that I would return to.“

“Visiting from England there was only one brewery tour that we were definitely doing and it was the PBR one! The tour is really interesting, our guide at 12 on Friday the 16th of May (sorry I forgot your name) was awesome, was a knowledgeable machine when it came to PBR. Wonderful stories and plenty of beer, Jim the owner was a great guy too, not as great as his wife who managed to get the football (soccer) on tv so I could watch Aston Villa ✅ Absolutely awesome place, plenty of cool merch in the shop too.“

When I went up to order, my eyes wandered to the pastry case, then to the egg sandwich board, then to the yogurt bowls - and it just kept getting hotter along the way!! The offerings were creative, savory, sweet, healthy and fulfilling.... “Stopped at another Triple D place. Comet's Cafe is in downtown Milwaukee. If you weren't looking for it, you might miss it. For drinks, we ordered the East Side of Manhattan and the Sage thyme daiquiri. The drinks were nice and strong. We shared a Comet club on sourdough, fries, and a side of bacon. The sandwich was just a sandwich, but we really liked the fries and bacon. Our server was nice and attentive.“

“Anodyne ended up being the perfect wedding venue for us. The rustic meets modern downtown coffee shop vibes were just what we were looking for. Let me tell you, this place is nice during the day, but at night this place comes alive with the string lights, moody mirrors, and classic radio wall. My husband and I took moments throughout the night to just around and admire the dreaminess of the venue. We received so many compliments about the bartenders and the venue coordinator Erica. The bartenders were super friendly and fast, and one of them even told us at the end of the night how much fun they had too! Erica was AMAZING to work with throughout the year and a half of planning. From the very first email to the last goodbye at the end of the wedding, she was the reason that everything ran so smoothly. We had multiple meetings with her leading up to the wedding, and she was helpful and accommodating every time. She told us that her goal was for us to enjoy our day and not sweat the small things, and that's exactly what she did! We held the ceremony and the reception there, and the transition after the ceremony was seamless and took less than ten minutes. Erica and her staff also set up all of our decor. We left the decor with her the day before the wedding, and when we walked up the stairs into Anodyne everything was set up the way we imagined it. No, better than we imagined! They went above and beyond, and we would highly recommend Anodyne if you're getting married in Milwaukee!“

Kinship Cafe has exceptional food. My go to is the Southwest Veggie Bowl with extra roasted sweet potatoes. The tangy, creamy, and spicy sauces for the salad are bursting with flavor, yet they don't overpower the tastes of the bowl ingredients.

Cold brew coffee is strong and nutty.“

“Passed through on a whim while in MKE and I'm so glad we did!! It's a cute space with indoor and outdoor seating, friendly staff and delicious food! I can't remember the exact name of what I ordered, but it had "gas station" in the title and it was a sausage breakfast sandwich with apricot jam and oh my lord, I had to ask a staff member if I could take a picture of the jam that they use so I could get some for myself.“

Ordering was easy, communication was open & our order was beyond perfect. We ordered the biggest breakfast charcuterie board which was a huge hit with all the varieties of baked goods, & fun layout. The variety of mini quiches were delicious & the perfect portion sizes for a buffet style brunch. Also easy to serve. Cheesy potatoes & the French toast bake were so good I wish I ordered more for leftovers. Not a crumb was left behind. We will absolutely be going to & catering with Green Baked Goods again. 10/10 recommend this family owned business. “From beginning to end we had a delightful dinner. The service was excellent. Our water was filled often. I had the ribs which were done perfectly and meaty!\nThey came with corn bread(I usually don't like but this was delicious and warm.) Cole slaw and Mac and cheese, which were very good also. My husband had the Thursday night pork dinner special. That came with a large side salad, mashed potatoes, corn on the cob and wonderful crusty bread. We both enjoyed ourselves very much! “Nice neighborhood coffee place in Bayview. They have a big wood fired pizza oven, no longer used for past six months. Character of the environs has certainly changed over the years.

The service is excellent, friendly. Expert baristas.

Really smith, silky rich flat white. It’s of seating options, I prefer the bar, watch the baristas in action. Lots of local art for sale here.

“This is a secret gem located downtown Milwaukee in what I call the Quarles and Brady building because their name is on top. But I am sure that’s not the name of this office building. However, Davian’s 411 has delicious food, friendly and fast service and affordable prices. The building also has a convenience store and gourmet popcorn shop with awesome, kind owners that run them. Each of these 3 businesses treat me really good and I appreciate them. Plus, the security desk has a great staff as well.“

Together they satisfy all my sweet salty and savory cravings with a comforting hot beverage. It’s always civilized in there, everyone keeping their voices to a mellow decibel and the greenery all over in the living walls is over the top beautiful. In the summertime it’s gorgeous outside. Michael and his staff are always hospitable and polite and you feel like they’re family taking care of you. It’s a terrific little gem tucked away in a sweet spot. Go there for healthy ish eats but mostly go because it feeds your soul.“

The goat cheese appetizer was a bit shocking -- very strong cheese with a concentrated tomato jam, but it you ate in spread over the bread it was enjoyable. The dumplings in the chicken and dumpling soup were injected with some strong weird flavor I could not place; they were not good. However the soup itself was delicious. The chocolate dessert came covered in salted caramel crumbs and pistachio ice cream. If you ate the dessert together it was interesting, but the chocolate base was the star of the show. And the cocktails... All the flavors were strong; most of them were good.“
