“Reviewing Google pictures before making my choice to try out this place I assumed there would be complimentary side dishes served like many other Korean restaurants. I was definitely fooled.I started with the Beef King Dumpling as an appetizer and ordered the Spicy Squid Pork Belly as the main. The flavors were amazing and I was very pleased.Taking one star off because of the deceiving Google image.“
“We live over 2 hours from Milwaukee. When we occasionally visit,San Dong is our go to dinning place.Food is always excellent, it's cool to see the cooks at work while ordering.I like to try a different dish, but usually order my favorite, twice cooked pork.We generally order a couple extra dinners,to take home with us.“
“I'm not a fan of them strictly using single use plastic ware. Just feels cheap, and its not sustainable. That being said, their chicken wings are fantastic. Much of their cocktails are made with soju, so they are not very strong but are tasty. The menu is on a QR code at the tables, so don't forget your smart phone.I highly recommend the dish that I couldn't pronounce, but it was a spicy ramen, rice cake, and fish cake dish with gochuchang sauce. Highly recommend, but be ready to get messy and don't wear white. The dumplings 7.0/10Chicken wings 8.4/10Korean street food soup ?? 7.2/10“
“I've eaten close by in the area many times and they have an incredible location with nice parking. They also had a nice atmosphere that attracted a younger crowd for a Sunday dinner service. I never had a chance to try out this amazing Milwaukee ramen delicacy and I was not disappointed. The chef cooked with flavor and finesse. The staff was knowledgeable and timely with our order. The star of the service was our waiter who was extremely kind. I would like to try more from the menu or try the BBQ next time. Also, I highly recommend getting Korean beer it's very delicious!“
“Absolutely amazing. I’m in Wisconsin for work and my hotel is 50 minutes away from this place, but it looked the most desirable. The menu is simple to understand with all of the classic Korean dishes. Staff is patient and friendly as well. I cannot wait to come back!!“
“Visited Char'd after a matinee show at the performing arts center. The food was excellent! Our server recommended the dumplings for an appetizer and she was spot on. Delicious and savory with a hint of spice. The crème fraiche dipping sauce was the perfect compliment to these. I had the glass noodles with beef and my wife had the bibimbap. The glass noodles were very tasty with a flavorful broth that was warm and rich. The bibimbap was fantastic! Unfortunately the egg was slightly over so it did not get to mix into the dish as intended. Aside from that the dish was amazing. crisp, crunchy rice at the bottom, fresh vegetables, and a delicious spicy sauce. We shared bites several times and there was plenty of bibimbap to take home as it is a huge dish. We are still enjoying it today! The atmosphere is nice and we were seated quickly for our early reservation. I highly recommend you check out Char'd if you are looking for a delicious dining experience!“
