Starbucks in Milwaukee

“Went thru the drive thru today 8/29/25 and ordered a tall Vanilla Sweet Cream cold brew and cheese danish. Took a drink and the lid was not on. Coffee all over me and my car seat. Not happy. At least it was not a hot drink. I called Starbucks. They took my name and will be given to the Supervisor. Let’s see what happens when I return“

“The staff are always just a little grumpy but they get the job done. I don't try to hang around. I never feel "invited" or welcome. Pick it up and run. Check your order before you leave.

“On occasion I have had the pleasure of eating here after a morning session at the gym. I love the smooth experience of ordering from the app and being able to just walk inside and pick it up and go sit down and eat! Staff is busy but friendly and studious in their duties, at least to me they were during my visits. Clean place too! I like a big glass of whole milk and a breakfast burrito ?????“

“I placed a pick up order this morning for what I thought was this location but it was actually at another location (this is why I needed caffeine lol). I want to give a huge thank you to the barista that noticed I had been waiting a while and checked on me. He showed me kindness by not making me feel dumber than I already did and he fixed my mistake by remaking my order at this location. Thank you! You made a positive impact on my morning. 🫶“

“This location has a table set up for, "the empty chair," a symbolic gesture for those who did not make it home. Additionally, there are pre-made cards for you to complete for those currently deployed while you wait for your order. This is so admirable, and greatly appreciated.

“The employees here are always the nicest and most down to earth I've ever seen/interacted with at a Starbucks. I don't know if it's because they work at a hospital or just because they are that awesome, but every single time I've gone...they are always the best. Today one of the employees (I wish I remembered her name) drew a tiny heart behind my name just because (I'd like to add I'm NOT a regular so it's not like they did it because they know me), and honestly from gaving a tough day...that little heart made me smile.“

“Big walkthrough area, very little seating, this is get your order and move out into the (Hyatt) lobby. Mainly for those already in the Hyatt, as keycard needed to enter from closest street entrance (N MLK Drive (N3rd Street)). Big, spacious lobby outside. Fast, efficient, friendly service. Very limited offferings.

“I was on a business trip, and honestly chose this Starbucks because it has a parking lot! The 2 employees who helped me were very friendly and genuine. They brought my food and drink to my table and went back to get me a straw. I know this seems trivial but it's small gestures like this that make a positive impact. The restaurant was clean, food and drinks were perfect. Thanks to the team for making my morning better!“

“Kendal was lovely. There was a communication error on my end with the flavor(I mixed up drinks and said white mocha instead of mocha) and she remade the drink for me and was really understanding about it!

“I've been coming here for a while now, and 9/10 the service is great! The evening staff is very friendly and welcoming. I'm probably not your traditional Starbucks Customer, but still I've been frequenting their different locations for about a decade now, and I always manage to reside somewhere where a location is nearby.“

“Service was ok. Food is sitting out and you can see what you are going to get. My piece of pizza was a little bland and way overpriced. You will be paying the price you would for a full pizza. Kind of what you would expect from a place like this.“

“I love stopping in at the Starbucks there inside this Chase Ave. location Target ? store. It’s just awesome to have it be so convenient for me to not have to stop somewhere else prior to coming to the store to get a drink. “Honestly have never had better experiences at Starbucks. I just moved to the area used to my Starbucks at home and was expecting your typical experience. However, I got far from what I thought was "typical". These workers instantly greeted me with a smile and a positive attitude. They were smiling their whole shift and have been very talkative with costumers including myself. My drinks here have never been messed up and are delicious every time. It is a perfect environment to come and do homework if you are a student. Thank you so much to the staff - keep it up:)“

“NO SEATING - Grab and go only!

Parking: There are a few paid street parking sports out front. The card reader wasn’t working, so we had to pay with quarters. Starbucks is unable to give out quarters unless you pay in cash.“

“Go to Starbucks all the time. Needed a little help getting change to wash clothes and Brandon and Amy were did not hesitate to help and were just overall had great energy and were overall nice. You would think getting a little extra change would not be a difficult request but other stores around them #PickNSave apparently have policies against helping customers.“

“☕️ Stopped by to grab a coffee since this location is closest to me. They seemed to be well staffed and focusing on the drive-thru orders in the morning since there is limited parking in the area so many people go drive thru during morning rush before work. It looks like a lot of people do a mobile order for pick up too. I got my drink and food fairly fast, not a super long wait for a simple order. And I luckily was able to grab one of the 2 parking spots in front.

Only minor thing is that they ran out of pumpkin spice latte on Nov 4th, but it worked out since the barista recommended an alternative drink. It is a relatively small location compared to the other Bay View location on Holt Ave, but big enough to catch up with a friend over coffee. I'm not really sure about the negative reviews but I'm not super picky beyond the popular drinks and probably stopped by on a good day. I'm sure this place will be fine if you need to stop by for a quick coffee to go.“

“Swung by in the evening while I was in town this past week to pick up a drink in the evening. It was great and service was wonderful. However there was strong smell of body odour in the vicinity. It wasn't near the counter so I don't think it was the baristas. It also wasn't there when I first walked in. I think it might be the security guard that works there. They showed up after I came in.“

“I got my coffee from concourse C and it was so good, they made my drink perfect!! The team that works there is absolutely phenomenal. They are so kind and work so hard for everyone. “A bit of a wait to get my order taken, as well as to receive my order, but great, friendly, customer service. I ordered the usual (Peppermint Mocha Frappuccino) and tasted slightly different than it always has at any of the Starbucks locations but it was still fine.“

“I’m doing four stars because yesterday 5/23 afternoon like 2pm I came in. I was disappointed I ordered through mobile app and was told my order was done sent my teen in to get the order and it wasn’t ready. I then came in and the order was made in front of me I got the iced matcha 🍵 and it was nasty! Too much matcha powder and because of that it was sour. The woman working did give me more simple syrup but geez it was just a mess if you ask me.

Now for the early morning crew like 6am 5/22 I was also in after doing a mobile order and those ladies did AMAZING so five stars for them!!! And my matcha was amazing!

So morning crew I highly recommend!! But we won’t be back in the afternoon I’m going to drive the extra 2.2 miles to a different location.“
