“If you are passing by or a local stop in. We have recently discovered this place (after many recommendations) The quintessential Wisconsin road-side bar. The waitress (damn I can’t remember her name) is so friendly. The food is great, the best pizza around. Had a prime rib Saturday, it was perfect to my specifications. The feel is def north woods. Very homey and comfortable. We went there 3! times in 10 days. Have yet to sit at the bar but will soon. 5 ⭐️“
“The service was great. They were personable and fun. We were seated and offered drinks very quickly. The menu had several great options but we all chose the fish fry. It was fantastic. Good portions, great sides and the batter was perfect. I look forward to our next visit.“
“The food was pretty good nothing to complain about at all. As for the atmosphere it's your old home town backwoods southern feel for sure; in my mind it's awesome. Service was by far superb. Get samples of their jams to try (highly suggest the pumpkin) on your toast yummy. Everyone was so nice and talkative. Thank you for a great experience.“
“This place was Joe and Mabels for years, then closed in the 1980's and sat empty until recently. It has received a nice makeover and is fresh and spotlessly clean. Pizza is very good and made on premise. Nice menu and Friday fish. Good bartender, good service. It has all the things I look for in a well run bar. I will be back to try the fish fry!“
“Montello Brewing Company is located in Rendezvous, convenient for those out on the water. They just upgraded their brewing system and it shows; they are able to push out more beer now. On my stop they had a blonde, pils, IPA, Scotch Ale, Irish Black, a Pale ale, and a couple porters. The bar tenders were extremely friendly and enjoyed talking about their beers.Their is a full restaurant here but just stopped for the beer but I will be back.“
