“Drove by on the way to hike Natural Bridge State Park and decided we would stop the next time we hiked in the area. Glad we did. Leroy and Connie run a great establishment. Burger was fantastic. Beers cold and cheap (compared to where we are from) and atmosphere was great. Will definitely be back!“

When we walked in we realized there was only one person working and questioned whether we should stay or not but we did and were very impressed with the guy working by himself. “This place is great! Inexpensive drinks, laid back atmosphere, and they recently replace their floor. They have a touchtunes jukebox so it is fun to play music right from my phone when I'm there. They've partnered with the local bar buddies so people get home safe at night. I am not exactly a regular, but the bartenders see my boyfriend and me come in and have our drinks ready for us! “This is my second meal at Ishnala and it was superb! I had the scallops with vegetables as a side. The cheese spread was excellent although the cracker assortment left a little to be desired. There was a storm the night I went, so was unable to stroll the grounds, but watching the storm made up for it. Get a table by the window if possible. And don’t pass up the (bourbon) Old Fashioned cocktail—it’s the best I’ve ever had. I also purchased a bottle of the Old Fashioned mix to go. Can’t wait to give it to my husband!“

Clint Eastwood drink was my favorite, but others in our group liked the Passionate Affair, which was also very tasty.After the piano player ended, the music was very loud. However, while he was playing, the vocals volume was more like background music. Male bartender (Kirk or Kurt) was excellent, but I can't say the same for the female who was rude.“
