“Good place to have a meal. Lots of choices on the menu with reasonable prices. I had the shrimp, which was very good; so were the cheese curds (which were half off due to happy hour). A friend had the french onion soup and said it was very good. Our waitress, Jennifer, was great -- attentive, knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. We'll be back. Lastly, we think it'll be a great place to watch a game.“

“I stopped into this small-town bar not expecting much, but left genuinely impressed. I ordered their Slick Willie Burger with fries and a plate of wings, and both absolutely delivered. The burger was juicy, cooked just right, and came with a toasted bun that held up perfectly.
The grilled wings were another highlight..great size with crispy skin. Honestly, I was shocked at how good everything was. It’s the kind of place you stumble upon and end up recommending to everyone.“

“Was never to Oscars before. I didn't expect that I'd be eating the greatest burger I've had in my Life. Meat was thick and juicy. Bun was clean and soft. Onion rings were hot with a firm dense crust. My friend and I were almost in disbelief. Staff was incredibly polite. Clientele, (place was packed), were well-mannered. I'll definitely be back. 10/10“

“My hubby did a pickup order and wow, we were impressed! Pickup fish fry isn’t usually something we do (thanks kidney stones for ruining our night) because it gets soggy but tonight we had to and it was really good. They packaged everything separately so the tartar and the slaw weren’t warm sitting in the container with the hot food, I had the combination platter and the package the baked cod in a separate soup container which was great. My husband had the blue gill and really enjoyed them as did our 5 year old. The food was all really delicious and I can’t wait to dine in next time. My husband said while he had a beer at the bar while he waited for our food all of the employees were friendly and pleasant.“

The items on display are one of a kind, and knowledge the bar owners have about this establishment and the items on display is rare these days. “This was our first time eating here. We would constantly see people walking out with to go containers so we thought we'd check it out. WOW was I glad we did. Food was amazing. “I at one time would recommend this place and I still do recommend this place. I just feel like well. Skyler told me that she did not like my attitude now I am 63 years old. I don’t have an attitude. I’ve been going there for three years because she chose to have a big meeting about me because I had attitude. I hate to use the word races even though I believe the owner is Hispanic, but she controls everything in the front one time she took it upon herself to order us my husband and I a fish fry day And she stood there and she told me three times. I will not serve you because you have attitude. My name is Lisa Sandoval and sometimes I feel like well. Some people like tacos and other people don’t wanna deal with the taco makers and Skyler karma is and will come back to you.“

“Exciting First Fish Fry Experience of Lent 2025!
Today, I finally had the chance to step into Jerseys Pub and Grill for my first official Fish Fry Lunch of Lent 2025! It's located at 4024 S Howell Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53207, and let me tell you – I’ve passed by this place countless times, but today, I finally got to experience it! What a hidden gem it turned out to be!
It all started when I met the owner, who just so happens to have a son at the same elementary school as my own. That’s when I discovered their Friday Fish Fry – a perfect addition to my Fish Fry Bucket List.
Now, let's dive into the mouthwatering menu options they offer on Fridays:
* Cod Fish Fry: Freshly cut lemon wedge, slaw, rye bread, and your choice of fries, potato wedges, or tater tots, all for $13.
* Fish Sandwich: Served with your choice of potato for $10.
* Shrimp Tacos: A flavorful delight for $9.50.
* Fish Tacos: Tasty and satisfying for $9.50.
* Shrimp Basket: Perfect for seafood lovers at $11.
From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the owner’s warm and friendly demeanor – she made me feel right at home. Her impeccable service really set the tone for the whole experience.
As for the food – WOW! I was served three generously-sized pieces of cod, perfectly battered with just the right amount of crispiness, yet not oily at all (huge win!). I went with the potato wedges, and they were on point – golden brown, crispy on the outside, and warm & fluffy on the inside. The slaw wasn’t the creamy type I usually prefer, but it had a delightful, crisp flavor that paired perfectly with everything else.
All in all, this was a fantastic Fish Fry Lunch that I’d definitely recommend if you’re in the area and craving something new! Another Milwaukee gem to add to your list.“

I had the pleasure of dining at The Landing Food & Spirits my visit was nothing short of amazing! From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere made me feel right at home. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring that every need was met with a smile.
The food was absolutely delicious! I had it exceeded my expectations in both flavor and presentation. The menu offers a great variety, so there's something for everyone. Whether you're looking for a hearty meal or a light bite, you’ll find it here.
The drinks were also top-notch—whether you’re into craft cocktails or prefer something more classic, there’s a great selection to choose from.
My recommendation you gotta get a good music system to enhance the vibes.

“The fish sandwich is honestly one of the best I’ve ever had and you can tell that all the food is cooked fresh to order. We also got a chocolate/vanilla twist cone and the custard was excellent! The food takes a while (10-15 min) to come out compared to a typical concessions spot, but you can sit outside on the patio and enjoy the incredible view of Lake Michigan - worth the wait!“
