“First time here tonight with my boyfriend. We were a little unsure when we walked in. Looks like they are doing some renovation. We were there early. (Thank God!) It filled up fast! Now we know why! Their walleye and perch were excellent! Huge portions and some surprise hush puppies we were not expecting...After covid, we decided we were going to go to different establishments and try out Friday night fish fry around our area. “The rescue (Lifeline Dog rescue) I work with recently did an adoption event at Geneva Tap House and O my gosh!!! The team here went above and beyond to make sure things went smoothly. It was our first event and we were able to adopt 4 out of 5 dogs thanks to their help. The owners and Taylor were so much fun to work with and the whole team thay day was so attentive and kind. We will never be able to thank them enough for being a dog friendly establishment. So many options to drink, so many beautiful places to sit, and the support for community is beyond compare.“

We did not get the email with the code so could not check in at check in time, so we had to wait an hour or 2. Not a huge deal. The bigger deal was the neighbor with the F… Biden sign (in her front yard) coming onto the property making guests uncomfortable.“

“I want to begin by saying that we love this place. BUT, the service and food were just horrible. My husband's wings were good but my nachos were terrible. The lack of beef was covered up with lettuce and triple helping of sour cream. I left hungry. We usually stay for more than 1 drink, but I had to get out of there due to a very miserable child screaming for its mother to pay attention to her. Just an overall unpleasant experience.“

The food and service was excellent and the owner, Jerry, was kind enough to listen to stories of my childhood, working in the hardware store that my great grandfather started back in the early 1900s. Was lucky enough to work for my grandpa there while in middle school. Great to see some of the original things that have been kept. We will be back next time we visit.“
