“What a wonderful experience! Large rooms, heated bathroom floors, comfy beds and pillows, historic and eclectic vibe. Coming from Holmen, it was the perfect overnight trip to be able to go to the theater and be able to enjoy a relaxing night! They really have thought of everything!“

“Stopped here on the bike in the middle of a down pour. The folks in the bar as well as the bartender were so friendly! We hung out here a few hours until the rain passed. Have a burger, they were fabulous! Definitely stop again when we are in the area.“
“Dante's was formerly the M&M Bar that is now under new ownership. They have a good menu and the food is very well prepared. I've had their Bacon Ranch Chicken Wrap and the Fried Shrimp Wrap several times and both are very good. The bar is well stocked with a selection of draft and bottle beer as well as mixed drinks. Prices are reasonable.“

“Have been here on multiple occasions for the pizza. Great doesn't even do it justice. Some of the best homemade pizza I've had. Service is great. Price is fair. Would highly recommend stopping by and trying it out if you haven't. You won't be let down!“

“Each time I walk into McCormick's I always feel welcome. Simple Wisconsin style tavern food and cocktails at a prices that will make wonder if they forgot to add your drinks to the tab. The fish fry on Fridays is my favorite, but there is always something cooking on the stove. They don't take credit cards but there is an ATM if you need it. Don't forget to leave a nice tip!“
“Halver's Town Tap is still the place to drink in Gays Mills, WI. It's the only bar left but rest assured it's not going anywhere. Plus they are adding LIVE Music at the beer tent on Friday night at Apple Fest 9/23/2011. The Pie City Twisters will be cranking out classic rock. Laura's kid brother will be spinning inside. Saturday night Beer Tent is local favorites the Dr. Rumley Snuff Band. This is a huge beer tent, lot's of room to move around and dance and not suffocate with wall to wall people. Check out Apple Festival 9/23-25th. It's still one of the best small town festivals in Wisconsin and you can't go home without apples from the Orchards on the Ridge. more info on www.facebook.com/gaysmills.wi“

“As someone who comes from a mexican household and raised in mexico this spot brought back memories. Not only was my server ramon excellent at his job, he also made me feel like i had come here a dozen times before, the food was like a portal back to jalisco this isnt a authentic mexican restaurant. This is THE mexican restaurant. A hidden gem in a small city that people need to drive out and try. Thank you for bringing me a slice of my old home all the way in the midwest.“

“My favorite bar discovery this year for sure! The service was great, food was delicious and the space is super comfy and inviting. They have many games to play, live music and bingo, no fish fry Friday's which I love. I can't wait to go back and try more food items and see some music!“
